First, why? Sting doesn't get white shadow dragon mode until waaaay later. Second, the main reason why I told you it happens way later. It's because it would have been considered a spoiler. Then I re-read your message and realized that you already knew about sting having white shadow dragon. Third, I misread your message on this because I thought you were saying you were saying something else. But I realized you were saying it was disappointing that sting didn't utilize a fusion roar like Natsu and Gajeel. Fourth, unless you're talking about the OG uploader for the video. Then I understand but I don't think sting actually had a fusion roar like Natsu and gajeel.

First, Natsu's fire dragon roar is iconic and I've always loved it. But the thing I missed is the the magic circles because all of the magic that followed look a lot cooler with the magic circles. Second, I love how the person for the video used Gajeel's roar from the Tenrou Island arc and not from Phantom Lord Arc. Gajeel's roar is pretty cool but it's hardly ever used. Third, Laxus his lightning dragon roar is pretty cool. But the thing I dislike is just like with gajeel and another dragon slayer on this list. He doesn't utilize his roar all that often which is funny because I thought all Dragon Slayers would utilize their main breath attack in battle. Fourth, Wendy I won't give her too much trouble on her drawer. Because she's more of a support unit on the team rather than a combative tight like Natsu and Gajeel. But I do like her magic and her roar even though it's basically just her exhaling lol. Fifth, Erik I'm sorry to say this to fans of the poison dragon slayer. But I highly hated erik but the only reason why I did. It's because of how he initiated his poison dragon roar. He literally looks so brain-dead putting his index and middle fingers around his lips and then shooting out the breath attack. The concept of the poison dragon slayer is pretty cool just the breath attack and how it was initiated is just dumb to me. Sixth, Sting I like him but the main reason why I'm annoyed. It's because his counterpart in the other two dragon slayers on this list. They rarely use their breath attacks which is annoying because it would have been pretty cool to see how sting used his breath attack in his battles. ( Yes I know he does use them in battle but he's only used it I believe twice 😒) I like the concept of his breath attack being similar to a laser but not really. Seventh, Rogue The Last Dragon Slayer that only used his shadow dragon roar once. Then he never used his breath attack and this is why I'm annoyed with that. He used his shadow dragon roar once and basically got shot down and overwhelmed by Natsu's fire dragon roar. Then we never see him use it again because what's the point of giving Slayers of breath attack if you're not going to allow them to incorporate it into their battles? Eighth, the lightning flame dragon and the iron shadow dragon roar. Both of these Fusion drawers were beautiful but iron shadow dragon looked more like a beam of light rather than shadows.

The fact that the roars are hardly ever used baffles me. Like I've always had the concept that the roar is a good attack to take out multiple enemies and then instantly follow up with a different attack. Like I headcanon Laxus has trouble recovering from a roar due to having weaker lungs from his sickness that is still present so he needs cover and/or practise but that's one out of seven. Wendy I also give a pass since her role is more support to other combatants that combat herself but the others don't have an excuse. Cobra's roar would have been useful in so many instances(plus Rhodonite manga created the idea he can control the severity of it so it's not like he could accidentally kill his allies) Honestly, most of the dragon slayers get religated to using mostly just one attack post introduction if they even get to fight. Maybe 2 or 3 if they're lucky. Like Rogue and Cobra don't even have secret arts as of the end of the series (excluding the sequel if they gave Rogue one) Edit: Rogue doesn't even get a secret art in 100 years quest so neither him nor Cobra have gotten one as of writing this.

don't the dragon slayers need to consume their element to fuel their powers...the roar seems to be their strongest attack, yet likely uses up a lot of their reserves so its probably only used for specific moments, since afterwards...they'd have less power to use

When it comes down to it. Laxus and Kobra are the most strongest dragon slayers of all. Natsu is always protected by plot armor. Laxus went toe to toe with the 3rd Fairy Tail guild master Hades as Natsu and his team couldn't beat him until his heart was damaged. Kobra took out Erza without taking a single hit from her. Natsu could never beat her. They also nerfed Kobra just so Natsu could win against him.

First, I think the dubbed for Fairy Tail and most anime is better do to it sounding more impactful. Because in some anime the power-ups literally just sound like the same person. Second, this may be considered a spoiler only if you haven't watched the final season. But the Sub VA for E.N.D. sounds exactly the same as regular Natsu in the sub. Third, you should watch the dub version of Fairy Tail. Because then you'll notice the difference between the sub and dub VA. Fourth, because the VA for English dub sounds a lot better than the sub VA. But that's just my opinion and nothing more.
