This .....actually looks interesting. I mean it's dodging a lot of the issues all the other 'games based on anime' have. It has an original storyline. Fairy Tail naturally has a wide cast of actually relatively equal characters And it is an actual RPG. Not a fighting game with a map..... 😏 The only question is: When playing with Erza will it be impossible to lose? The REAL FT experience. :) Yeah I am cautiously hyped

If it has an original storyline that might also open up the possibility of an "avatar" or created character too (something like this was done in the PS2 Inuyasha game, Secret of the Cursed Mask, and you could even romance the main cast depending on gender [IIRC, males could romance Kagome, Sango, or Kikyo, while females could romance Inuyasha, Miroku, or Sesshomaru]). I'd honestly like to see something like that, maybe even give that character access to some sort of unique magic to make them "special", or make them a Slayer who can counter a unique element that none of the other Slayers can?

Fextralife has like 20 mins of them playing the game. c) My reasons for being interested don't require me to see the gameplay. Or have it be an optional alternate story mode, but I agree. Like let you customize their appearance and then select a type of magic that they will be able to use (for instance, Re-quip magic could make them more of a "tank" who is meant to draw enemy "aggro" and keep enemies from attacking the less durable party members, Slayer magic could be for raw damage output, Zodiac magic could be more support or healing-focused, etc. And in the case of slayer magic, perhaps you would even be a type of slayer who was able to counter a damage type that otherwise was hard to defend against, so that your character wasn't simply "there" as a sort of third wheel, they would actually contribute in a meaningful way).

The reasons why today’s Anime games don’t have English voices now because Bandai dropped out the R1 anime distribution industry years ago, which is where they pulled in most of their voices for the video games division. What this game needs. 1. Character creation 2. pvp/pve multiplayer 3. Ability to choose and level up magic 4. Ability to choose/create a dark/light guild 5. Open world 6. (Optional) fighting not based on turns ex: dragon ball xenoverse I feel that these changes could make the game perfect in my opinion
