I went to Granada and Alhambra a few years ago. There’s a festival on Jan 2 every year (the date of Ferdinand and Isabella’s victory in 1492). Most of the Islamic monuments and calligraphy is still there, except there’s statues of Mary or a cross on top. Even the roads have some signs in Arabic. It’s a beautiful place that’s been preserved!

Sir, I am from chhattisgarh, and all my family and friends circle belong to Bastar region. The nature and cultural beauty of bastar is still in its purest form and untouched or influnced from the outer world. The value of nature and and the cultural belief is more important than any of the other developmental factors. So, personally the only and major concern which comes in my mind is about the ecological damage. The use of tanks and artillery in such a place results to the major damage in the flora and fauna in the area. And the after effect of such changes may create a big climatic change in the environment of that area. Govt must think it over again to use such a big disaster machine in such a beautiful place.

Faisal Warraich ji at early days of schooling ,I was fond of reading books newspaper " Jang " , n my elder brothers matriculation school books, year 1958 , history of India Pakistan , British India , Mughal Royal family of Indian Mughal empire , history of Muslims right from " Makkah to Madina " onward Umayyad , Abbasid , Andulus same with Central Asiaian nations ( Turk , Mughals , Mongols ) though in learning time I was science student but history of locals and international scenario remaind my crush, I m enjoying your narrations , thanks.
