So cool to see all the faith based relief services coming to the aid of these storm victims. Helping Hands from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Catholic Relief Services, Samaritans Purse from the Protestant faiths, Salvation army, and so many others. So cool.

I’m just grateful that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was there,as well as the other churches in the area. When we serve those in need we are serving Jesus Christ. It’s been wonderful the way that ALL CHURCHES were serving together. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ.❤

I'm so touched by all of the Latter-day Saints who have come to serve their community along with other volunteers. There are a lot more good people than bad ones! That is the blessing of such terrible disasters - the pure love of charity and unity that is fostered in difficult times. I'm sure that thousands upon thousands of prayers have been uttered on behalf of all the people who have lost something. Those prayers strengthen and inspire both helpers and sufferers.

Not surprised at all, helping hands are doing what Jesus would have done in this situation. This is what a true church looks like, not so much talking more doing! There are many suffering from tragedies and atrocities all over the globe, and we pray for them all at conference. It is a global faith and we strive to stand close together and “lift where we stand” which is what these people are doing. The rest of pray in our homes and churches for God to pour out his blessings and for guidance on how we can serve where we are.
