People were talking about Sydney macghlin, Shelly Ann, Thompson Hera and we forgot that kipyegon should also be mentioned in that same breath. Ladies and gentlemen we are privileged to live in the same time as the greatest 1500 runner of all time. AND I BET SHE WILL BREAK IT AGAIN AT SOME POINT THIS YEAR. JUST A WEEK LATER AND SHE BROKE THE 5000 WORLD RECORD 😂😂.

Damn! She literally sprinted the final 400m after already running 1100m. Middle and long distance runners these days are rewriting sport physiology theory. Everything we thought we knew about the limits of the human body are going out the window. Proper respect for Muir for trying to hang on in 2nd place.

omg I had to watch this over and over. I will watch the entire race Saturday and then replay that last lap when she just flipped that switch to ignite an insane kick. you are dead on man... are you kidding me with that sub 60 final lap...recorded the meet while out of town but I couldnt take it..had to check youtube on my phone to see what was going on in Italy. oh my...best 1500 career I think and had a baby smack in the middle of it as well. That is one fast momma!! She is looking deadly and it's still early in the season?? A WR already?? Besides her times she is a fantastic racer. A seasoned vet who can win in different scenarios. Slow starts...fast...windy...from the front...upside down...lol That kick was devastating. She made the other elite women look like children and they are among the best in the world. Wow! Womens track baby...Golden ERA and I am here for it! I have never see so many Women who are WR threats in almost every event from the 100m to the distances. How is this happening!!

Faith didn't just break the world record...she destroyed the world record. She could've jogged the last 30 meters and still broke the world record. Any real fan of track (like me) would think she has a legit shot at winning both the 1,500 AND the 800m at the next Olympics. Athing Mu, Ajee Wilson, and co. better pray that Faith doesn't drop one event in distance to the 800m. And this is coming feom from an American track fan.
