Hi Rhonda! Lovely devotional! You do a wonderful job of making scripture relevant to our lives today.🥰 The Vega sweater is going to be a “show stopper” when it’s finished. The Gloam sweater is coming along nicely as well. You’ve made a lot of progress on your projects even though your schedule is quite busy. I'm sure your mom is thrilled you’re able to be with her to celebrate her birthday. Enjoy every moment! ❤️

Thank you Rhonda, for your faithfulness in the Lord. I tried 90 days reading thru the Bible a couple of times, many times I just stop and savor the Word. Yep, Father is so Awesome with His Love toward us and continue even though at time we forget. Much love, sister in Christ. Love your devotion and knitting 👍🌼🐝❤📖🙏

Thanks Shirley! I tried the reading through the Bible in 90 days once also. It came out more like 160 days for me!😂 But I did it! Yes, our Father is indeed Awesome and His Love for us endures forever. So grateful for that! Blessings and Peace to you🥰

I am lucky enough to live in the path of totality. Although it was cloudy all morning, God graciously lifted the clouds JUST IN TIME for totality and we got to see the whole event! Don't know why I am just now getting to see this episode; I didn't realize I had missed an episode! Glad I noticed today. I always enjoy your channel.

Amen amen 🙏 Rhonda. So good to spend some time with you on this Saturday it always brings a joyful heart. Your cardigans are going to be stunning. I’m working on a cardigan too it’s the rebel cardigan by ankestrick. Have a wonderful visit with your mom celebrating her birthday. And spring is such an amazing gift from God. It’s amazing how after everything is lifeless for so many months and one day you look outside because you hear the birds singing and you see His beauty. The trees are green the flowers are blooming and life is colorful and vibrant. 🥰🌳🌹🌷🌺🦋

Wow Rhonda, YHWH working through you for this teaching. I have been going through a very negative period, even after all the years of being a Christian. Thank you for your inspiring message. I will be going through the verses you mentioned and throwing off these grave clothes. Our church has called “Easter” Resurrection Sunday since I’ve been a part of it. I agree with you that it is a more accurate description of the celebration.

Hi Kym! I'm happy the episode was encouraging to you. We can drift sometimes into those negative or discouraged places. But God is so good to come and find us and bring us out.🙌🏼🙌🏼 It's good to remember the great things He's done for us. Thanks again, and Blessings to you!🥰🥰

Beautiful message sister. Talking about the heavenlies really touched my heart. I'm praying for traveling mercies for your trip to MS. Enjoy your time with your mom. I'm pretty amazed that you could do a video after 1 Chronicles. That's a tough one to read. Yet all those names are so important. I'm looking forward to your next video.

Thanks Pat! Yes, I somehow managed to get through 1 & 2 Chronicles and still get a video out!😂😂 But you're so right--all those names are important and there for a reason. It’s refreshing to hear other Christians questioning “Easter”. I urge you to look into the Passover and God’s HOLY days. Jesus died on the day the Passover lamb was slain, he was in the grave for 3 nights and 3 days and rose again on First Fruits. He IS the first fruit of the harvest. Studying the HOLY days of God has opened my eyes to what obedience to God actually means. Jesus followed all of the Torah and I am encouraged to follow it too. It’s so refreshing to be able to turn to God for instruction. Especially when it comes to the Holy days.

Thank you! I am very interested in learning more about the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. I think it is fascinating how knowledge of the Jewish feasts and festivals illuminates the Scriptures. It is something I'm doing a lot of reading about. Thanks again for your comment. Blessings!🥰

Hi Rhonda, thank you for another lovely episode and for the inspiring devotional. I'm very impressed with your Bible course. I can't imagine reading the OT in 8 weeks!! I'm also planning on knitting Rift tee for the first time this summer. I found a sport weight Cotton and polyester blend (75%/25%) that I'm hoping will work well. I'll look forward to see how your Rift progresses. God bless, Tricia
@faithandknitting39946 ай бұрын
Hi Tricia! Thanks for your kind words about the episode. I so appreciate that. Yeah, reading the entire OT in 8 weeks is really more than I bargained for. It is extremely challenging--but SO enjoyable and a really beneficial experience! That yarn you mentioned sounds like a good choice for the Rift tee. I'd love to hear how it comes out! Thanks and Blessings to you!🥰

Also in another blog it came up that God told his people not to mix linen and wool. That's the linen quill basically. They were wondering why he said not to. With your studies it would be neat to have your thoughts when you come to it.
@faithandknitting39946 ай бұрын
Hi Ali, I hadn't thought about that prohibition in relation to linen quill, but you are exactly right. It's linen and wool. I looked into the reason God gave that command. What I found was that the linen ephod that the high priests wore was made with woolen thread in it, so it was thought that maybe the restriction was so that ONLY the high priests should have a garment that was linen and wool, as a way of distinguishing them and a way of showing the separateness of holy things and common things. In other words, because these fibers were used together in the garment of the high priest, they should not be used together in a common, everyday garment worn by just anyone. Makes sense to me. I had wondered about that before, so I'm glad you brought it up. Blessings!🥰

@@faithandknitting3994 So I wonder 🤔 with the veil being torn with Jesus's sacrifice covering us with His blood to allow us to go straight to the Holy of Holies and in 1 Peter he calls us a royal priesthood, we can wear it freely and with that knowledge making it a pretty cool significance or do you think that's over stepping in some way? I hope not. It'll be neat to wrap up in the half + half triangle shawl in that yarn thinking and praying on all that. Or knitting it for a friend and sharing Jesus in that way.
@faithandknitting39946 ай бұрын
@@alip.9740 Ohhh, yeah, I love that idea and it would be so wonderful to wrap up in the shawl of linen and wool, and let it remind us that we are a part of a royal priesthood! So so cool! But I think also, the restriction may no longer apply because Jesus has come as the fulfillment of the Law and as the Great High Priest and thereby doing away with the restrictions for the priestly clothing. Either way, it's fascinating to think about!🥰

Purl soho santolina is organic cotton, rayon bamboo, and hemp is soft. It's got a nice touch. I'm not sure how it grows yet but it's a lovely combo. Just ordered it for a shirt for a friend. Not sure if it's still on sale. Also the color on the picture isn't as rich in person, at least the red smoke color but it's still a lovely color.

Thanks for letting me know. I will look into it. It sounds like a good combo of fibers to use. And "soft" is what I'm looking for.😊 Thanks again!🥰
