I am overwhelmed with all these positive comments! You guys are seriously so sweet you have no idea how much I appreciate you. It makes me tear up reading all these personal comments about your own struggles, and seeing you relate to eachother. It's hard to write personal songs and release them for people to react to because it's such a deep part of my life, but I am so grateful to see how my song is something you can relate to, that you know you aren't alone. I hear you, I know what you're feeling, your feelings are valid and they MATTER. Not everyone is going to understand, and that's ok. You're all such beautiful people and I am so blessed to have you along on this journey that I am embarking on. I am SOO excited to show you what else I'm working on

You know what sucks. I can’t even tell my mom how I feel because she’ll just say “do you need to see a therapist” or “do you need to go to a mental hospital” and she won’t listen. This song really hits hard. I’ve been writing poems a lot and once she found one..and tore it up. Because she thinks I’m fine because I mask my sadness with a smile that works so well. She doesn’t understand, she was raised with an adopted mom and she had everything she ever needed. But right now, I just need a mom who understands and listens

You don’t need to see a therapist. God loves you and wants to hear from you. Talk to someone who has known you since before you were made. He is your father. Only He will understand your pain. I don’t know what you are going through, but you’ll be in my prayers.

I get you marissa sweeten my mom doesn't listen & understands me she wants to get me a therapist my mom want me to go to a mental hospital so does my brother Kenny.my family think & says I'm am crazy for people being mean to me.my mom says she loves me but she treats me like crap & says I don't do nice things for her.for mother's day this year I was gonna set up in the backyard a tea party idea but I just know she wouldn't remember that.my mom says I can't be a singer that's my career she said I will never be famous she doesn't want me to become a singer so won't let me have a boyfriend cause my mom won't let me go near boy's but my sister's were allow to go near boy's but not me.my family HATES me they treat me like crap & say shit behind my back & a deep conversation about me in the car when I'm not there.my mom & brother Kenny reports me to my Dad when I didn't to anything:my mom doesn't want to believe in me or be seen with me.my mom is really mean to me.my mom all ways yelled at me when I was little & my family all ways made me cry they still do.my mom said she doesn't care what happens to me.when I have a conversation she cuts me off & goes to do stuff or when I talk to her she's on her phone & says in a angry way (I'M LISTENING) when I try to talk to her she tells me to stop or she goes to the restroom.my mom said she doesn't want to take care of us anymore & she wants to die or she wants to drive threw away & never come back.

It's hard writing songs even more so when it's something personal like this, I used to write songs about things in my life to try and get my feelings out I don't have people to talk to in real life so I did that, I wrote thing to just say that it's sometimes hard to write songs like this, (then making the video for said song is a lot of work too so I understand the amount of time it takes.)

[Verse 1] My friends always tell me I get carried away Sometimes I spit when I talk cuz' I have so much to say They don't seem to hear me but I guess it's ok It's not there fault my minds working overtime with no pay They always say the same things and its starting to get old That my head can't get sick It can't catch a cold I scratch and pick My insecurities poke My fears, my anxiety, a voice that provokes Take a walk clear your head breathe in count to ten Cuz on the first page of life written in red You'll never make it here if you don't learn how to bend [Chorus] Don't speak unless you're spoken to, little girl Someday you will find your place in the world But ladies don't get dirty Someday you'll learn to fill the empty space With empty faith. [Verse 2] Every day feels like a battle and I always get hurt I was frequently told violence was never the answer But life doesn't Adibe to the rules of a child I don't know how to fight only taught how to surrender There's a certain kind of darkness that does a reaping It usually takes you right before you are sleeping Is it the crack in the door that it finds a way to creep in? Or the crack in your brain that wants you to drop dead? I don't remember what it's like to see with clear vision I awake every morning like this dead has arisen I don't have to think this body of mine is a prison You don't control me I just gotta find the light switch But the more that I look the further I get You're the only thing about me that needs to be fixed Cuz on the first page of life is written in fine print Stop looking for the light, live it instead. [Chorus] Don't speak unless you're spoken to, little girl Someday you will find your place in the world But ladies don't get dirty Someday you'll learn to fill the empty space With empty faith. [Bridge] My mind is a mess but I love it none the less They tell me to hush but my words are all that's left So on the last page of life written in gold Don't waste it always doing what you're told. *SORRY IF THERE ARE MISTAKES.*

So, we need a show dedicated to songwriters performing original songs. The Voice for songwriters doing their own work. Then you need to win the first season, and immediately judge. Your entire discography is a masterclass in doing music your own way without railroading yourself, and still managing to stay true to yourself through that experimentation, AND completely melting people into sobbing piles of emotion. What even are you.

Please, parents..... tell your children you love them. Tell ur children they mean everything to u. Its never too late to start. They may be mad at u for a while but eventually they will know u actually are there for them. This comes from a damaged adult with a damaged child in this body. Remember how u felt when u got hurt in life. Remember how that felt and then try to think try to feel what ur child feels when they feel that way. Then u will understand. Realize its not ur fault. If u feel remorse then u still have a chance to change

Faith: I am a new fan. I am obsessed with your music. Antidote and Little Girl make me cry from the reality they have. I go through so much anxiety and it pains me that others feel similar. Stay strong Faith. *Don't forget that we all love you*

I truly hope that you and artists like you start being noticed for being real and authentic. I have battled depression and suicidal thoughts for a good chunk of my life. Now my hometown has been plagued with suicides of young people in the past year. Depression is definitely not something we should dwell in; however, there are so many people that need someone like you so they can have a voice when they cannot speak. Thank you for sharing your story with us. Thank you for being you.
