My biggest dream in life is to give my family a better life. Time and time again Ive been told I wasn't good enough I'm too skinny I suck at the game I put blood sweat and tears in. Almost everyday I go outside for hours in the middle of the summer to go and practice. Compared to others I had an easy upbringing but we all come from somewhere. I'm only 14 right now, but I have big dreams. The one thing I want to do is make life easier for my family. My parents have worked their entire lives. My mom and dad grew up in El Salvador In the middle of a war zone they moved to California only to grow up in Compton my dad would later join the marines. I hate watching my parents and the rest of my family struggle to pay bills. My dad has to work 14 hours a day on bad feet. But he does it for me. I'm gonna make it. And when I do you will know my name.

I remember feeling similarly at your age, and the game always gave me a strong belief and desire to make those dreams reality. I never got to play college ball like I wanted to, but those lessons have helped me tremendously in life. Never give up, young man. Stick to your work ethic, and never let anyone make you feel like the mindset you have is a bad thing. It’s more valuable than any materialistic thing this world has to offer. A lot of people are not willing to put in the work for their dreams, so people will tell you it’s not possible or that you’re being unrealistic. Truth be told you just have the courage to have big dreams, and that is a blessing I hope you never let go of. Always give God the glory, and you will find a tremendous source of inspiration that cannot be found anywhere else. Thank you for chasing your dream. It’s an amazing thing to behold and empowers those around you. Good luck!
