I understand fully what you are saying but you also have to realize you are who you are because of your upbringing. Your father taught you something very valuable… To be a good father. If you hadn’t experienced that you may not be the man you are today. Your children will grow up in a completely different environment. They will need discipline and guidance so that they do not feel overprivileged. We all try to raise our children to the best of our ability. One day my daughter said to me, and I quote, ‘ I’m gonna do things much different when I have children.’ I said I said the same thing when I was growing up. But one thing you need to realize is that no matter how you raise your children they are always going to think you did something wrong. There’s no book on how to raise children, but there is a common denominator. Love, trust, teach respect, and definitely, teach about the value of money. Have confident in raising your children and make sure they have confidence in you. That’s how I feel in a nutshell. God bless.
