Thank you so much for this sermon. I needed to hear this. I haven't so much been afraid of this virus because I do trust in the Lord, but I have been hurt and ostracized by some of my brothers and sisters in Christ over their fear of it, which has really broken (my already tender) heart. I do forgive them but this hasn't helped my fear of people (a LOT of bad things have happened to me in my life), but I know Jesus doesn't want me to give into that fear either, and just keep loving them into the Kingdom. God bless you, and please pray for me, for His strength and guidance. And His comforting presence. He's SO good.

My mom worked down the hall from the city jail at the police department in the 60’s. I got to visit there once when it was empty. I always viewed my body in terms of a jail cell for the Holy Spirit if I didn’t offer my body a living sacrifice. I want it to be like the Temple. My salvation experience at 6 years old was during a revival. The preacher talked about going into the heart cleaning out the refrigerator of alcohol, the living room of porn magazines, the bedrooms of perversion, etc. I saw a doll house and Jesus sweeping and mopping, etc. Then he asked “is anyone willing to do this?” I thought, I can. So viewing my heart as the home of God has always mattered to me. Thank you for this.

Absolutely fantastic teaching and excellent scripture promises! Sydney Australia has been in TOTAL lockdown for 4 months now. My family and I have stayed strong in faith and remain confident in God’s plan. We respect the authorities, however didn’t fret or get loud voicing opinions, didn’t even watch the news to be honest. We just continued to live life as we normally did to the best of our ability, and the result is that lockdown has had very little affect on us. Proverbs 18:21 is something Christians should mediate on as to give careful thought to what you’re constantly talking about. Praying for your church and over your words Pastor Paul and lovely Sue to be heard clearly and for believers to live in confidence and not in fear. What a great family conversation-minus the fireplace! 😂

Thank you Pastor Paul. I have felt SO MUCH fear lately, especially when I watch the news. Issues such as vaccines and masks are hurting our church as people fear and judge one another. My husband is taking chemo for cancer and I fear that exposure to Covid will delay further treatments. All of my thoughts are consumed with Covid and death. I intend to confess my sin of fear to God and to meditate on all of these bible verses you’ve mentioned. I really needed this sermon this morning.

Thank you Pastor Paul I really needed to hear this teaching I Was drawn by the title as I have been choosing Faith over fear morning, noon and night since my only child 55yrs was diagnosed stage4 cancer, I'm 75 and have felt the Lord recently challenging me to take steps of faith fearful for me. Since He promises we will still be fruitful in old age and my church the Rock Calvary chapel here in FL. is bursting at the seams with new people and needs. I do have aging issues but don't want to hide behind them and miss what God has for me because of fear. I had not understood that fear is sin and can be taken to the cross of our Mighty Savior Jesus. Thank you so much for turning the scripture light on.

Anxiety is defined as when feeling an unexplainable appropriate level of fear in any given situation at hand. Going to the doctor when it becomes a pattern to find out why while trusting god to help you cope with whatever truth you must face when hearing a diagnosis explanation is for sure one way to avoid feeling anxiety.

I think some Christians got a wake up call and realized that they aren’t ready. Christs’ second coming is now closer than ever and COVID was The Lord’s wake up call to the world that He is near. Do you want to stay or go with Christ? Matthew 24 speaks about viruses and famine. We’re heading into famine soon and as long as we stay close to God, there is no reason to fear. He protects those who are near to Him

Brothers in Jesus Christ I'm someone who really and nobody I extra got it that got touched and save me from the gates of hell that's just part of my testimony testimony I passed by 17 months in jail here just now lately covid and all that my question is what is next in the sequence of things to my understanding and that acknowledge I know about the word of God almighty is that he's going to pick up his bride or you know on John chapter 4 John on book of John or whatever it says that the gospel will be preached to the ends of the Earth and then the end will come does that mean the rapture or does that mean destruction or that that loser guy that skill room for a little bit and then take things like he knows how to to terrible situations thank you so much praise Jesus Christ
