Former diehard believer here, but I have a lot of respect for this. Father and daughter, sitting down, asking each other real questions - and having the courage to put it on KZbin. I think the Christian faith needs to stick to stuff like this. Instead of chasing after supernatural claims with no proof.

One question that applies to all religious people. how do people really believe that they were born with the “correct/real” religion? There are many beliefs/religious in the world and it is what a bless that you were born into the right one! does not apply to people who explored all of them and chose a one other than region/family inherited one

This is a great question, and one that I've thought a lot about over the years. Before I was a Christian, I often said things like, "You people are only Christians because of where and when you happened to be born." But it never occurred to me that I could've said the same thing about my own worldview, too: "I'm only an agnostic/atheist because I was born in the post-enlightenment West and raised with significant privilege and comfort." It's easy to try and diminish someone's worldview - religious or otherwise - by pointing out all the superficial reasons why they believe what they do. But in the end, all that really matters is the truth of one's beliefs. The fact is, I'm not a Christian merely because of when and where I was born. I'm a Christian because Christianity is true.
