Hi Faith. Love your reaction! Gabriel started singing in church with his family at the age of 6. His father gave him music by Whitney and Mariah and he used it to learn his technique. He has no formal vocal training and only recently started learning English. He speaks Portugese but memorizes the songs in English. If you compare his earlier videos(like this one) to his newer ones, you can see a big difference in his pronunciation. If you're a Whitney fan then I suggest his covers of Run to You, I will Always You and One Moment in Time. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. I love your energy! Jeff
