Matheson kills plays and doesn't create interestong movement. When they put Hutson and Laine on pp1 everything will change.

you are making a harsh criticism. Its acceptable, its preseason. why do you say its unacceptable. Accept it or not there is still a next hockey game to be played, meaning more chances to improve. Ok so what would you change on the habs powerplay? Having Laine and Hutson will help a lot this year. I think our powerplay will improve. And also it wasnt St-Louis that was in charge of the PP it was Alex BUrrows who now has changed his job.

Pezetta looked great again. His grit and constant effort are a delight to see. He will be on the team, on the fourth line with Gallagher and Evans, or perhaps as 13th forward. Montembeault also had a solid one, on par with Primeau's performance in the first pre-game. The fight for starter spot will be interesting throughout the season. Beck needs to capitalize on his chances, otherwise Kapanen and Heineman will get his spot.

I agree with your view but I think beck still has high chance. However, I have a feeling that dvorak will be the one that will get traded or sent in the ahl for Kapanen

McTavish, Carlsson, Gauthier, Zegras , Terry, Fabbri, Strome Fowler, Zelwegger, Luneau , and don't forget they have a true number one in Gibson, Utah will tank for Hagens, Ottawa too so it put us directly at 5 . 8-10 is delusional.
