it's actually his best and underrated but yes. expansion hopefully making it even better. Also, it doesn't look bad at all, it has a very consistent aesthetic and the board is very legible, having complex pieces or minis would have made it impossible to stack or combine them properly or to read the board. not everything needs a deluxe edition

I like Faiyum better than either Power Grid or Findorff. Also, I really like this art style - I don't think it looks bad at all, I find it really evocative of a "classic era" in board gaming that I feel quite warmly toward.

ya I totally disagree....the game looks fine & I would much rather pay around $30 for a copy of it in the second hand market than pay well north of $100 for a "deluxified" version of the same game. And since you brought up the Castles of Burgundy, I own & would much rather have the original version than the monstrosity that I know am seeing in various unboxing videos. I can only imagine what that game costs & to me it is just not worth that kind of money!
