While i love how creative all these builds are, it kind of makes me sad that we can't change the appearance of the real buildings on our island. In New Leaf you could change the appearance of the Town Hall and Train station. A game that so heavily focuses around designing not having this feature is kind of unbelievable :( (apart from the villager houses ofc)

I'm always game for more fake building ideas. But now that I got my new island (my first time restarting ever) to 3 stars, I'm definitely going to put some of those wide display case ideas to good use. Although I'm still trying to figure how to build streets and what items would be good to put on both sides to make it look like the thru-way is lined by buildings

I find it ironic that the stores have "open" signs when you can't go in. It would make more sense to use "closed" signs instead.

the goal was to showcase different ways creators have layered items, and what items they use! the actual structure is totally up to you, but typically you’ll want to build a cliff 2x2 to place some storefronts/a gazebo on and then add more storefronts/stalls around it to hide the cliff face
