Most people don’t know that active military and 😮retired veterans really don’t like to be told Happy Memorial Day or thanks for you service. They think it’s disrespectful because Memorial Day is the day we all get together and have barbecues, open our pools… As a veteran I’ve had it drilled into my head that Memorial Day is a day to remember the men who died in combat fighting for this country.
