What Doyin and Ezinne need to realise is that unrealistic expectations from intimacy is a result of some type of trauma or an unusual first time experience. It’s essentially a trauma response, or could be the result of a person’s introduction to sex and so they’ve built into their minds these strange versions of an ideal way to achieve sexual gratification that is based around these seemingly weird activities. That doesn’t make it a normal thing. It’s not their fault especially if that first experience was largely determined by someone else but we need to understand that it’s also not normal. Wanting to be led on a leash, demanding unhygienic conditions, wanting to be asphyxiated etc in order to attain the height sexual pleasure are unrealistic and weird, not to mention potentially dangerous. Such people need therapy to recalibrate their minds into finding pleasure in “normal” sexual activities. And by normal I don’t mean basic, the possibilities are endless but they don’t need to be weird or unusual.

All these weird sexual expectations comes as a result on how much time we've spent on watching porn but we forget most of these things we see there a very unrealistic because most of parts in porn are edited.
