From the game being in a closet for 2 decades and then for it to ALMOST move to a burning furnace... because it's July and it's now 90 degrees down in Virginia (where the story takes place) so it makes perfect sense to burn games in a home furnace in 90 degree weather in the middle of summer. But at least he saved it. Quality story telling there. D -

I had a look on ebay just now, and there's a couple of "Gold edition reproduction carts" that look just like these. For a reproduction, the prices are fucking absurd! I like the Retrousb carts in blue, nobody is ever going to mistake that for a real one.

It's the visceral experience of using the actual vintage equipment. For me, using an emulator or even the silly little NES Classic Mini would take so much away from it. Sure, not everyone cares, but there are a LOT of us who do. You don't have to understand, just accept that it matters to some of us. Hell, I just got a Switch and I'm buying as many of my games as I can in physical form. Guess I'm just old-school like that.

I made my nwc gold cart and bought the kit for it cost me around 70$ with shipping I had to solder it together myself and make my own sticker but looks actually very nice and its just a joke item for my gold plated analogue nt mini ;D but no point of spending 30k or 100k on it imo rather spent that on a nice Mercedes benz amg^^

I have a real cart at home still and here is everything thats off: The cartridge looks like Zelda 2 with the sticker ripped off as normally its flat and not with the basic NES texturing like this one, and the NWC sticker put on it, a hole cut in there and dip switches put in and the hole and switches are off as normally they are more to the left.

Janni9009 that's pretty much exactly what they did for the real cart. lol. I highly doubt you have a real nwc gold cart or else you would know that it is just a gold cart shell, with nwc board in it, a hole cut in for the switches, and a nwc sticker put on it. It's nice to dream though.
