Going forward, hopefully he's learned to see concrete evidence of a pregnancy before shelling out money. He shouldn't have paid a dime before accompanying her to the clinic to confirm the results of the pregnancy test. When she said she wasn't going to pay him his money in spite of the ruling, whatever grace I'd have initially given her went completely out of the window.
