Dear Zameer, usually people with Functional experience will shine a lot in SAP. SAP is all about Functional experience converting into IT. You can try as fresher, 35 years is not a matter, in-fact it is advantage. But keep in mind, first few years you need to keep some financial leverage to not have family issues. All the best.
