first thought : your kidding me. second thought : i already disliked the hell out of jellyroll, just cause he only is famous due to fast and the furious 1 having a song that shouted him out in it, during the intro scene of fast and the furious 1. i think jelly roll is horrible, he takes genres and wipes his sweaty wanna be country boy balls on every genre, he has alright musicians playing his music and in his live band, but jelly roll himself is wack as hell and talentless as far as what jelly has shown.

Collectables are gambling - most will lose because that is how the game works. The main problem with collectables is, by the time they are truly valuable, you are old and don't care anymore. People get into collecting in their mid to late 20's. They think they are better than the rest at it and will surely cash in big within 10-15 years. Nope, maybe 30-40, and even then, probably not. The real collectables are the stuff that isn't meant to be collected. Had I known shoes would be collectable, I would've saved every pair of Vans I wore as a kid. I would've bought some reject pairs from the Vans booth at the fair every year and could easily have a hundred pair of the ugliest Vans in existence. I've thrown away old shoes and jeans that are now worth something, I've kept stuff that isn't. It's gambling...

The other day I did an M&G and I know my signed print wasn't hand signed, went back to check the package details and saw it said personalized signed item... They aren't saying hand signed like a lot of legitimate artists are doing, because yeah, it wasn't signed by the artist at all. One problem that can arise from the fake signatures is that it will keep people away from legit deals. Are there artists that use autopens? Absolutely. Are there artists that actually do live signatures? Absolutely. This situation can hurt artists really wanting to help charities and that is bothersome. I am not someone who collects signatures because most of them out there are fake. Unless the artist signs in front of you, you are taking a gamble. Good video!

Jon Bon Jovi's latest album was another recent one with "autographed" CD booklets where some signed were real, but the majority turned out to be autopen. I've collected autographs (primarily baseball, but a little bit of everything) for over 25 years, but most of my music autos were obtained in person. Though I did get a Kittie band-signed poster in the mail as a thank-you for making a small donation years ago when they were raising money to make their documentary.

jelly roll was recently on Joe Rogan and he actually had a whole story about he isn't and was never an addict, not to drugs, he was addicted to candies and snacks, and he tells Joe he figured this out while doing a "dab or something"(I'd wager he was doing more than dabbing THC, lol, more like smoking crack), and when someone offered him a candy he realized he was addicted to snacks. He is clearly on something, as no sober and sane normal person says they are addicted to cookies and goes to Narcotics Anonymous meetings(he told many stories about going to such meetings in the same interview), great video btw, I didn't know about the autograph stuff.

For an artist to sit there and sign thousands if not tens of thousands of items is probably unrealistic. Maybe a couple of hundred. I'm not a autograph hound so I don't buy these kinds of things but it should be straightforward that it's either an auto pen, a printed signature or an actual signed by the artist autograph.

Sometimes at meet and greets the posters are already signed, I met asking Alexandria in 2017, they had huge stack of thr posters we was given and all signatures looked the exact same, me and my buddies that went compared. They had English speaking tour manager that went down the line belittling people the whole time, experience totally ruined by him..I was pissed! I paid 200$ 7 years ago that was a lot. CD's are making somewhat of a comeback because they are a piece of physical media that collectors can grab for a lower price point. They are also notorious for autopen as well as any size picture. Autographs without professional certification don't sell great but I totally agree if you, as a fan, wanted an authentic auto from someone you admire and the trust is broken, it's not a matter of cost. I would no longer be a fan.

A COA doesn't mean anything. I was at a comic show where many celebrities were signing. To the JSA COA and sticker verification, all youbhad to do was bring up a signed item to their table and hand them $20. They didn't even look at the auto. So, I went and bought a Star Trek comic from a vendor and scribbled a "Walter Koenig" on it. The guy didn't even ask me who signed it. He took my $20 and slapped the sticker on it and gave me the COA. I put it in my bag and told the guy I signed it myself, how is that verified? And he shrugged his shoulders and said "I guess you just saved yourself the signing fees" and laughed. I told the staff that ran the show and they threatened to throw me out if I did it again. Buy, how would they know? NOBODY CHECKED ANYTHING.
