the horse on the counterfeit looks skeletal as well. The magnet doesn't slow from silver being "slightly magnetic", it slows because with silver in it generates a small electric current when the magnet passes over it, which it turn creates a small magnetic field. This is why the magnet won't stick at all if it isn't moving

Do the drop test on all your silver. You will hear the difference without weighing or cutting into anything.
