Fake vs Real Dior Sauvage Parfum 100 ml Perfume
How to spot fake Dior Sauvage Parfum 100 ml Perfume
The perfumes are very identical in smell, but the fake does not persist for 10 minutes.
The original Dior Sauvage Parfum version costs 130 euros, the fake has a price between 30 - 60 euros.
The boxes are identical, you can practically not tell which is fake or real, a safety element is the weight ... see in the video.
The original style shows the text Dior Sauvage, in the original it is thinner, compared to the fake one which is presented to us thicker, the next text is PERFUME, in the original it is thinner, compared to the fake one which is thicker, and last but not least it is DIOR, the same aspects, the original thinner, compared to the fake which is thicker.
A safety element is the lid, more carefully closing the lid, it must be subjected to two tests ...
- look at closing the lid should be as small a space as possible, compared to what fake has a larger space.
- put your hand on the lid and lift the bottle with it, the original does not come off even if it is shaken harder, compared to the fake one that comes off the glass.
The push button is another security element, to identify the fake, carefully inspect the CD logo, it must be without extra material, clear, without erasures, an example is in the video.
The inside of the push button must bear the logo of the CD company, if this safety element does not exist, then you will surely face a fake perfume.
The weight of the original cover is different from the fake cover ... see in the video. The inside of the lid has a fly, inspect this fly carefully, the original is a thicker fly, compared to the fake one which is thinner, the head is much thicker than the original one compared to the fake one which is thinner ... see in the video .
The serial number on the bottom of the bottle should not be engraved with paint (the video shows how to remove this paint). If the serial number engraved on the bottom of the box is not the same as the serial number engraved on the bottom of the bottle, then you are faced with a wild savor.

Hi, I have Sauvage EDP and I have a question: Is it necessarily fake if "R" letter in "Eau de parfum" is different on bottle then on the box? (I saw some pictures on Sephora where that letter is also different font then on the box so I am not sure). And if batch code differs on bottom of the bottle than on bottom of the box? I checked everything else and it seems ok, cap release magnet when you turn in, it posses bee symbol, sprayer nozzle also seems fine...So only two things I definitely noticed that are not quite right and I am more and more unsure what to belive...

yes acapacil rotates like the original… but it doesn't have such a strong magnet… grab the bottle only by the lid and shake it… the fake lid immediately comes off the glass… the original one stays even if you shake it harder👌

The problem is that the manufacturers are changing everything constantly - eg, I have the real version of this, but my bottle has silver writing on it, not white as shown here. Also, I have 100% authentic Dior Homme Intense, but on your video it shows a bee on the sprayer nozzle. Mine has the CD letters, but I know it's real. I think these videos are great, but need constant updating because the manufacturers are always changing things.

Your DHI bottle must be old, 2019 or earlier I guess. Sauvage always has CD on the sprayer though, new and old. Not the same for DHI.

Hey, my Sauvage has 100ML instead of 100ml on the front site and I got a lot more text on the back site. Besides that I also have a different symbol for recycling and no inflammable symbol on the bottom. Is this a fake?

The most noticeable are the 3 magnets clearly visible on the real sauvage. The fake ones doesn't have those and thus it has a weak magnetic grip.

So it seems fake ones have gotten better? I got one from an acquaintance and was curious about it. The box seems fine for the most part but doesn't have the flammable sign and has the big e sign next to the 100ml, but it has a really strong magnet that holds the bottle the cap also is the real size. the bottom of the bottle also doesn't have any engravings of any sort but the bubble inside looks fine. A lot of discrepancies between some real things and some fake ones. kinda bummed down by it. Checking if the fragrance sticks more than 10 mins, so far, it has passed that mark.

I think a perfume/parfum quality is not about its bottle or packaging....it's how it smells and lasts....if a fake/clone smell identical and lasts ...well my friends, i will get the fake then. In my humble opinion, fakes are made by the original house to give their product more value in the market. that been said, I might be wrong.
