Lying about rape to cover up infidelity, even about a pregnancy is one of the lowest things you could do to someone, let alone someone you love. Accusations such as these can make real victims stay silent, due to the fear of not being believed or victim blamed, being told things like"you shouldn't have dressed up like that, it's YOUR fault that he came onto you", or "you're saying this only because you regret having sex with that person.", Even "You're overreacting. you wanted this." There’s no excuse for saying such heinous things to cover up a "mistake" you made.

Fetal movement doesn’t happen until about 15-18 weeks depending on the person and pregnancy (you can feel movement earlier due to how many pregnancies you’ve had). Side note. well a lot of ACTUALLY pregnant women might take one every other day/every few days to make sure the HCG hormone (pregnancy hormone) is continuing to increase/yield darker test lines in the very early stages of pregnancy.. especially common if there have been previous miscarriages.. I called my bf to tell him I felt movement and my dad overheard me and he told me did you just tell Ed you felt movement in your abdomen? I was speechless. I denied what I said to my dad then went for a pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant. My baby is now a handsome self sufficient 22 year old young man and he makes my heart smile every day. PS. I couldn’t have done this without my parents help. But I had to grow up fast. By the time I was 19 I was on my own with my baby. I’m extremely fortunate to have the parents I have.

Jasmin is deeply narcissistic. It seems to be an automatic reaction, like when the test results were read, to absolve herself of all responsibility by blaming someone else. It’s like an unconscious reaction at this point! I don’t think Jasmin will change, but I do think Philip will get out of this relationship eventually. If he stays in the relationship, he enables her narcissistic behaviour and puts himself at risk of being falsely accused of domestic abuse, emotional abuse, or even sexual abuse. If they start a family and Philip wants out, I see Jasmin exploiting him financially and trying to take him for everything he has. I hope both of them get the support they need, and I especially hope Philip finds the esteem within himself to know he deserves better.
