There was a good chance that the minigame wasn't going to be a coin one, meaning Danny could potentially lose and walk away 3 coins short (for paying the Thwomp) only with an extra buddy. Playing it safe and using the pipe instead is better IMO, as it also saved turns so that more stars (i.e. more chances) could come.

goddam deion and rhyme were toxic af in this stream. not reading the climbing game then yelling at doto for not teaching them. Deion pressuring doto to start a minigame that is literally impossible to play with his broken controller. telling doto to hit the event space then yelling when the boulder sends them back. Deion sulking for 20 minutes about doto taking his star, after 2 games full of deion and rhyme trying to steal from doto. there's other things, but there's mostly how aggressively stupid they were the whole time. yelling at everything without trying to figure the game out. really the only thing that keeps bringing me back is to watch doto overcome all the odds
