I also think that there are bigger priorities in terms of items like champions that build Archangels just not being able to build it because of how dog water piss bad the item is.

Almost no champs counter him. A lot of people go for their mythic first instead of zhonyas against Zed, which is a huge mistake. Granted, any good player can counter a Zed, but any good Zed can counter that good player.

But then again last night faced a pro Kat and couldn't get one culling off that connected as she ended up with 17/6/12 while me 6/8/10.

Faker is just trolling everybody while they play so defensive just to try hard to get him. Faker is healing 70% in the base, dives under the turrets with 20% hp, clears waves with 1% hp and delays returning to base and with all these things he still wins in majority of 1 v 1 fights. He's a genius.

I mean, realistically theres a different "best ult" for different situations, I'd want to hold Malphite ult for 5-man group on drag baron or flank, or Jax ult for split push ect.

Midbeast, nothing to be offensive on, but I think you missed the fact that Lee Sin and Nocturne have shields. As a Diamond Zed Main, knowing how annoying they are, I would've bought Serpent's Fang as a 2nd item. However, I think CDR was more important here for teamplay, so Zed99 going Cleaver isn't bad either. Allows him to scale towards late game much easily while still allowing 1v1 potential onto everyone except Lee which is pretty good thinking by him. Just thought I'd mention why he went Serpent's Fang. 👍

Honestly when faker is fighting, I don’t think it’s whether or not “he’ll win the 1v1 or not without the kindred.” It’s more of “would he be positioned like that and fight it if he didn’t have kindred there?” Cause he’s so fucking good at baiting for jungle

I have seen many recent games of Faker, and I noticed one major flaw. He always plays without any respect for his Opponents. He always goes for the super Risky positioning, thinking that he can outplay everyone. And often gets caught out for that. That's probably one major reason why he isn't able to perform on absolute top level anymore. His playing style is way more bold, or even Arrogant, than of any other Top player.
