Monday Reviews! Today we'll be covering JJK 263 and discuss why this current "mini-arc" of the jujutsu high crew fighting Sukuna could be over! I am not at all saying Sukuna will die or be defeated in the next chapter, but I believe the story will shift it's focus into something different for now. What do you guys think?

We also need to remember Jacob lader was always put off before it could kill megumi that's why sukuna survived all of them so far, it was only used to weaken sukuna's control over megumi. will angel go all the way this time and wont stop Jacobs ladder until sukuna is dead? Or will sukuna activate the merger to survive? Or will his 19f die but his last finger eaten by rika will keep him alive some how??? Personally I always thought if megumi survives this he will become a villain.

There is no evidence that it was weakened in any way. Quite the opposite. The "maximum output" suggests the exact opposite. Moreover, Sukuna only got wrecked the first time because he hadn't yet taken significant control (bath, killing Megumi's sister). He tanked the one from Yuta because he still had that control and could defend against it. This third one his control is wavering due to Yuji's assault, so it may or may not be effective. But nothing suggests they are pulling punches on Sukuna to save Megumi... saving him is literally their best chance of victory and worse case scenario we already know Sukuna can revive a corpse from death.

@@oyra3567 The conditions on activation are for KENJAKU not for Sukuna. We don't know if he can activate the merger immediately or not. Only Kenjaku had to kill all the players because he put the burden of ending the Culling Game on HIMSELF. Sukuna wants everyone to fight him so he told them at the start he'd follow Kenjaku's plan and they'd have to kill him to stop him. He is getting what he wanted. The only question is, when it looks like he will lose and can't do anything to stop it, what will he do? What can he do?

A note, Yuta never accesed Kenjaku's Memories as he never was in Kenjaku body, only Gojos, but he gained the knowledge of the Cursed Technique as he copied it, and with that Yuta gott the informationg of the CT. So Kenjaku probably had the same problem at some point, but figured out a way to get around it, or this is only happeing because Yuta isn't using Body hopping CT, but Copy and and that makes the difference.

Yeah we have also to Remember that while we refer to CT burnout as impossibility to use the CT, in reality Is told Is "Just" hellish hard to do. So you can tecnically still use It... And Kenny Is the MOST experienced sorcerer we ever saw, One that relly on his CT to Simply stay alive... It is very simple - Gege is a bad writer. They set precedent with Gojo being the strongest, killed him, had him revive himself with RCT explicitly stating that as long as his head is intact he can revive himself with RCT, and then he dies again, and doesn't revive himself with RCT despite being able to, and cites that Gojo is too strong for there to be any conflict in the story, so to solve that they write a villain that is apparently stronger than the problem character. Brilliant writing!!

The structure of the story really is cyclical. All of the beginning of jjk, while being strong in its own, was building up to the shibuya incident, where the antagonists enact the complex plan to take out gojo. The power scales tip, and we get the second half of the story, where the new characters and mechanics and history are shown to us before and throughout the culling games, setting everything into place. And now we're at the protagonists' shibuya: the shinjuku showdown. (also, in shibuya the release of sukuna and fight with mahoraga are unexpected catastrophes for the main cast, and boons for sukuna. I wonder what will result from megumi being unleashed)

Yuji propably used Dismantle over Cleave bc of this: Dismantle is a flying Slash. He did not aim at Sukuna's Body, nor Sukuna's Soul. He fired the slashes directly at a Barrier between Megumi's and Sukuna's Soul. So right now Megumi's Soul is cut of from his own Body + Sukuna's Soul which are on the opposite side. Once this Barrier breaks it will hopefully allow Megumi to interact with his Body, or even regain his Control over it.

My theory on why Kenjaku wasn't burned out is that this is an effect of his Domain Expansion. Kenjaku's domain didn't have a sure hit of it's own, but it could use someone else's technique for the sure hit. In return, the burn out would only burn the used technique and not the original body hop CT.

There is a huge issue with that plan: 1. Sukuna knows that Copy does not steals the move. And he knows it cause his dismantle was used against him 2. Given that he knows this, he understands that currently there is a very limited body able fighters atm that can pose any threat 3. Sukuna also knows that the swapping techinique can now exchange things from considerable distances 4. The black flash he just striked might have help him recover more than he is showing, probably baiting for angel to show

Guys, if i remember well Yuji didnt know a thing of this plan, and he wants to save Megumi... but Jacob's ladder could kill Megumi? I'd imagine things are about to get real crazy, either Yuji punches Sukuna out of the way and there's a struggle between the other sorcerers on the idea of killing Sukuna in Megumi's body... or damn... well it could get crazy... who knows... but i imagine Yuji's fate after all this might not be a happy one :')

The only 2 times sukuna has seemed in real danger are against improvised hollow purple and angels max output jacobs ladder. The only way sukuna gets out of this is uruame jumping in to stop angel assuming shes beaten/immobilised hakari

My theory is they actually succeed against Sukuna, save Megumi, and Megumi is so broken at this point he himself triggers the merger once he’s free of Sukuna since he alone has the capability to do so.

What if Jacobs Ladder works and neutralizes all 18F + Corpse=1F completely but then 1F Sukuna inside Rika merges with her and we have the final boss - King + Queen of Curses! Limitless isn't burnt out its Kenny's technique because it allows him to use the body's technique like a demo. The CT burnout can only target specific techniques within the brain. Yuta only has Copy installed in his brain not limitless.

itadori started learning from sukuna to make as many binding vows as possible to win. its not a battle of cursed technique its battle of how many binding vows more can you make than the other person. also i feel its kinda funny how gojo i dont think he has correct me if im wrong, made any binding vows to get that strong while sukuna has made so many lmao.

7:10 Nah hold on , the binding vow isn't to make yuji incapable of using flying slashes its to make his efficiency at severing the barrier between the 2 souls increase in return for losing the ability to make physical damage to sukuna , since doing physical damage to him is practically useless this move is great because now its more likely that they can save megumi and get rid of sukuna

while i do think the reasoning of yuta is good i don't see why sukuna would directly believe that after using sukuna slashes, which could be seen as because sukuna split his soul into various parts, but still doesn't make that much sense to me, outside of sukuna being able to be an outlier of that condition lol

my opinion is after getting tricked once by an original user of copy technique sukuna was expecting another original user.i might be having ptsd from sukuna getting out of these situations all the time but im guessing hell use 10 shadows techniques shadow realm to dodge this and well finally see sukuna actually go all out with 10s
