I think she's acknowledged for her acting. That's why she's been put in many good lead roles since she costarred in Wolf. Usually the beautiful actresses who are pushed as sex symbols since their big debuts (Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, Scarlett Jo, Jessica Biel, Amber Heard, etc, etc.) all disappear after a little while and they usually only stay in supporting roles as the hot chick in every film. After their moment is up if they don't have the acting chops to accompany their looks. I would say Margot is one of the Angelina Jolie & Charlize Theron types who can prove a woman actress can be both hot & talented, & so they have longevity as a result.
