I bought my first FAL in 1980 after selling my Fiancée's engagement ring when we broke up. (Yeah Buddy!) In 1983 by chance I came across a "G" series rifle SN1763 on consignment at gun shop from an Army General's widow who was asking $1000.00 for it. I told her I was not a thief and paid $1500.00 for it. Later around 1993 I traded it for a Browning 1919A6, which I later sold for a ton of money and it was used in the window scene in Saving Private Ryan. Around 6 years ago I came across a DSA FAL with a fixed flash suppresser because it had a shorter barrel than NFA rules. As I never fired the "G" series rifle I cannot compare it's accuracy, however after ordering the DSA scope mount and installing decent glass I can attest the DSA rifle shoots 1/4 MOA against my very modified M21 with stupid good glass AND using all ammo I run including Russian Silver Bear. It smoked my original Belgian rifle I paid $2000.00 for in 1980 and the workmanship was considerable better.

I own 2 DSArms FAL rifles. I also have a British L1A1 and an Argentine and my long loved South African FAL. By far the DSARMS are the best of the lot. VERY accurate, reliable, and robust. Their mags are excellent quality. Scope mounts are second to none.I am very pleased with DSARMS and highly recommend their rifles to any looking for an FN FAL type weapon. If you have never shot an FAL you owe it to yourself to get ahold of one and put rounds down range. The FAL is one outstanding weapon system. The US Military almost adopted the FAL over the M14. If there was a manufacturer of FALs in the US back in the early 1950s the M14 may never have been. I would LOVE to see DSARMS introduce a FNC into the lineup. I would buy one in a second, maybe 2 or 3. DSARMS definitely makes the finest FAL available today anywhere in the world, hate to say it but better than the Belgian ones by a long shot and even better than the South African. Long live the FAL. THE RIGHT ARM OF THE FREE WORLD!!!!

mean45acp I bought my first firearm exactly 4 years ago. An AR 15 from RGUNS. I live in the northern subs of Chicago and RGUNS is less than 40 miles from my house. I have been traveling to Crystal Lake, IL many times in the last 4 years for business and to go to On Target gun store and range. I was traveling home from a business meeting along my regular route last month and there is a new sign on a billboard for DSArms with a picture of a rifle and wouldn't you know it but their factory/store is 1,500 feet from the highway that I have been traveling on for the last 4 years. I have been driving by this place all this time and didn't even know it was there! I went in last week and was blown away. They were well stocked with FALs, AKs, ARs and shotguns and pistols. They are definitely going to put a hurt on my bank account!

Oh you guys are AWESOME!This video is considered GUN PORN!I have your FAL Carbine with the Paratrooper folding stock and 16 inch barrel,dont know what the model is but fell in love with it first sight.Shoots so well at 400 yards and excellent at close range.I have to get the Paratrooper model with a 20 inch barrel next.Very SEXY rifles.Oh I cant control myself!!See you at the next SHOT SHOW.FALs are my favorite rifles.Thanks guys!!!

DSA: FAL casting piece is very fragile, a very short life span. ORIGINAL Fn Fal Herstal, cold forged part of a machined aluminum block by hand. This difference explains the difference in price, The real Fal is made for years the clone of DSA for 5 years, since 50 years it is in all the wars.

Hans Strouf, Our receivers are definitely not fragile. You can’t/wouldn’t/shouldn’t throw a lifetime warranty on a part deemed fragile right? We make MANY select fire models for armed forces across the globe that have stood up to any torture test out there. FN switched to cast uppers and we did the same as it makes the FAL a bit more affordable, not less reliable. I am not just a DSA employee but a proud SA58 owner :)
