Hi Everyone. welcome back to another video. I have a Juvenile Red tailed hawk here that is going to be mounted for a perched wall mount. there are times that we run out of time to finish our project and we need to continue the work the next day. despite of what some people think and are afraid of, it can very safely be postponed to the next day. Hopefully you enjoy the video.
Cheers

Congratulations, beautiful channel and spectacular videos! I have a question: what kind of glue do you use to attach the skin to the head? Thanks!

Thank you Giovanni. It is Gorilla Super glue that I’m using on bird skins.

Really enjoy your videos. At 6:35 in the idea you put a wire at the base of the tail. Or so it it looked. Is it just raptors you do that or do you do something similar with ducks? I’m new to this. Trying to learn. Thank you

Hey Patrick. I do that to almost all birds. It just gives it more support. I’m glad you enjoy the videos.

Just wondering, since I’m new to taxidermy, why do you bag the bird and put it in the fridge?

The skin has been washed and soaked for preservation then froze and then thawed out, rinsed in cold water then its what you see.
