Wow, this brass and wind instruments repair shop - Takahashi Wind Instrument Repair and Sales in Okubo is an institution. In 1982, I bought a second-hand Selmer alto saxophone from this shop. The shop sign and unassuming shopfront look the same as if time stood still. I hope they are doing well. (TV program was made 7 years ago.). I really want to visit this repair studio next time when I go to Japan. :)
I can't stop watching these videos. Don't know Japanese, still find them great

5chr4pn3ll My Japanese is quite weak, I took a few courses in university, and I am only getting back into now after quite a few years, so I understand very little of what is said, but likewise, I keep watching them, cannot get enough. I fear that rather than working tonight, I will just keep watching these.

Good documentary. Japanese = difficult for English speakers but I see the love & devotion of this repairer. Thanks for this documentary.
