I don't know about most people but every chapter in this game took me 75+ hours. each one almost felt like its own self contained game and in that sense this song was when I knew it was finally all over. that all it was going to take was one final push to put an end to the journey that is cold steel 3's incredible chapters. its beautiful. takahiro unisuga is the best to ever do it

The first time this play during the Aion Battle, its' very iconic. The fact that the Aion can resist a Divine Knight and a Zemurian Ore blade is impressive. The other iconic moment, is when Valimar pass over Ordis and everyone see and respect the Ashen Chevalier as a hero.

Honestly, Having played Crossbell I'm more surprised the Divine Knights could survive fight an Aion than the other way around. Then again, I guess they no longer have a Sept-Terrion powering them.

@@Mr.Stizblee Its actually quite interesting if you think about it...technically a divine knight has the power of 2/7th of a sept terrion(since the sept terrion of Steel is just the Fire and earth one merged together) , while the Aions from Ao are powered by a sept terrion...so on paper they arent terribly different. Then again, Divine knights are supposed to contain that power to keep it from forming the Sept Terrion of Steel again, so maybe there are some limiters in place. That being said, Valimar and Ordine, being essentially the bottom of the barrel as far as divine knights go in terms of basic abbilities, according to Alberich, probably arent going to be capable of fighting the white Aion on even Terms, Crow says as much himself in CS2. That being said though, I have a feeling that Argreion, El Prado and especially Ishmelga would have...reasonable fighting chances considering their Pilots and power.

@@sothe0539 I dunno. I mean have you seen what the Aions did in Ao? It was crazy, especially the destruction of Garrelia fortress. In contrast the divine knights are rarely shown to have special powers beyond being faster and stronger than the Panzer Soldats and using powerful arts, although maybe they do more crazy stuff in IV or Hajimari which I haven't played yet. Keep in mind that the Aions weren't powered by a regular Sept Terrion, but an artificial one capable of manipulating elements besides Mirage as well.

@@Mr.Stizbleeminor CS4 spoilers and Hajimari spoilers at the end in regards to the divine knights...shouldnt be too bad but avoid them if you dont want any details at all. Ah right, thats the part I forgot about, the fact that Kea could manipulate the other elements as well... I dont know how much of a difference that makes but uts a factor for sure. As for the thibg with garellia fortress, yeah I doubt Valimar Ordine and Zektor could do anything like that. Tessta rossa has some stuff in the black records that makes it seem to be able to do some pretty terrifying things with its thousand weapons, though if its on that scale I am not sure...As for the remaining three that are stated to be the strongest...I think Ishmelga at the very least has a fighting chance with the curse and the sword of the end. Id say it comes down to who can land a blow first between it and the white Aion. As for the other two Aions...I think the blue one should be managable by all divine knights given a proper weapon and enough time (Im only vaguely remembering its capabilities from Crossbell though so I may be wrong) as for the purple aion...its Speed should be the biggest issue for the divine knights to deal with, but divine knights also feature some impressive speed. Put a good martial artist at the helm of the divine knight(since they translate their owners fighting style cleanly as seen in CS1) and I think theyd stand a decent ish chance... thats all just speculation on my part though, fact is, the aions are stronger than valimar alone for sure, considering he is incapable of fighting their weaker versions one on one. However, Valimar and ordine are considered to be the weakest divine knight models (according to the head of the gnomes in CS4) so...yeah, that leaves things pretty open. Especially considering the ease with which the other divine knights destroyed the weakened Aions throughout CS3. Finally about Hajimari...(Spoiler alert the second ^^') There are some new things related to the divine knights that we learn in that game and a certain divine knight shows powers in that game that FAR exceed the white Aions. Im talking continent white repurcussions instead of just a fortress...but Ill leave out the details since those are...particularly interesting.

I thought him getting interrupted was cool in Cold Steel 3 because I thought it was kind of annoying and predictable in Cold Steel 2 when he'd just call Valimar to bail him out of every corner he got in. It really made the stakes throughout most of Cold Steel 2 feel lower than they probably should have for me.

As much as I like this soundtrack, robot battles in this game was hard and scary. One wrong move and you get counter attacked for tons of damage or simply die. Your opponents are also pretty strong in this game, they have large HP pools hence longer mech battles. Yes you have companions but it honestly made things harder for me. So, whenever this song kicked in I had been like ''Oh crap this guy gonna kick my ass now'' lol. I played every Sen no Kiseki games on hard mode btw, might be more forgiving on normal, I don't know.

The only aion fight that was hard for me was chapter 1 fight and Aurelia's mech but I was playing on nightmare mode the rest were easy imo

@@JRPGforlife The thing is you have to know the boss stances and weak points. It's almost a lose on the first try since you're trying to figure out the battle. There is also RNG when it comes to crits in mech fights since not all bosses have 5 star weak points. Nameless One mech fight was a nightmare for me. I didn't use any consumables like BP charges or heals btw, figured they'd make things a lot easier. My first playthrough and I'm blind to every mechanic.
