I remember back in the early 1990’s my dad and i was catching nice bass with just a trim function on the motor, only one prop and a single Eagle 6100 LCG.

Falcon bass boats are super safe. Trimmed up they can take a hard turn right OR left.

Awesome explanation and work on the video. I'm now a new subscriber😀 I'm loving my 2021 Alumacraft fsx 175 with a Yamaha 115 SHO👍 I'd love to look into a jackplate for my boat for a few reasons but not sure if its a great idea and worth it. Mainly for running super shallow water here near boat launches and thought maybe for taking it out onto NSR river so I could fish river too without a jet drive. Thanks again👍

When you refernce jack plate on 10 "3.5" above" are you saying your prop to pad measurement is the center of your prop shaft 3.5" above bottom of pad? That is crazy high.

What kind of jack plate? I noticed the falcon comes with a 6 but iv always ran a 10 on my phoenix

The new sho props are very stiff. I had a new SHO series prop and was almost 400 rpms less than an orginal t1 series. I ran a 27t1 blueprinted and was seeing 80-81 before damaged (stock motor) bought a 27t2 and couldnt break 5800 rpms. had reworked to a 26 and blueprinted and could hit 6200 rpms in cold water, 77-78 but warm water 6K rpms at 72/73. Those new t2 or SHO props are dogs..

Yeah most 20ft bass boats with a flashed sho can run those speeds. Want to suggest before doing 75mph+ you take those props out of the boat. Heard of a guy who did that and hit a small wave and the prop bounced and sliced open his co angler leg. Cute puppy dog please be safe.

@@dustindennisfishing I’ve watched your videos several times. I like and appreciate the way you narrated. I’ve looked for the PT 25p VHS. Did I misunderstand you? Did you mean PT VMX3 25p?

@@dustindennisfishing so why in your video do you say 25 PowerTech VHS Prop made by Yamaha? Is that a 4th Prop?

Why? Speed boat racer or fisherman?
@dustindennisfishing3 жыл бұрын
Every person has a love or enjoyment. Mine, a fast bassboat to fish and peform. I fish a lot of big waters, and rivers. Sometimes riding 20-40 miles one way depending on time of year chasing fish. So faster a boat, longer time to fish and shorter time getting there. Also, to beat others to community gravel bars...
