Honestly if they had given John some guns and some soldiers he could have destroyed the flag smashers. They are super soldiers yes, but not bullet proof! I just thought of something, carly is a regular girl. How is she outsmarting the U.S government?

JOHN WALKER IS MY BOY! HE IS THE GREATEST CHARACTER DISNEY HAS PUT OUT SINCE PHASE 4! I love how he is trying to do the right thing while everyone hates him, and compares him to steve. He has the weight of the world on his shoulder, and he always does the right thing every time like Battle Star says. "but what about the muder?" I hear you say. Well that was justified too! That super terrorist could kill someone with a single punch, so putting him down was the safest option. If that guy got up he could have taken a hostage or worse. I can't wait to see more John Walker! Also Wyatt Russel is a great actor like his parents.

My problem from this show is how John Walker was written to look as a villain eventhough he killed the super soldier terrorist Nico but tries to make Karli Morgenthau (the leader of the super soldier terrorist the Flagsmashers) symphatize character. Hell even Sam was such a dumbass in this movie same as Bucky as well, they both treat Walker like crap despite John already saved them from the Flagsmashers in the truck via episode 2 and declined John very coldly despite John tries to be nice towards Sam & Bucky to be cooperate together (just because he is a Captain America). Plus John was loses his comrade/brother-in-arms Lemar to the Flagsmashers. Instead of Sam and Bucky symphatize towards John and comforted them for losing his friend (especially they both were in the armies so they both should've known what it feels like to lost a companion who has been in your side in the battlefield) instead they accuse him of making mistake of killing the Flagsmashers and plus wanted to start a fight with John by taking the shield from him. But yet Sam tries to be sympathetic towards Karli, making excuses by saying "she's just a kid" and then tries to pull the Steven Universe "we don't have to fight, you could still redeemed yourself" or the Naruto talk-no-jutsu technique towards Karli and then he argues with the senator by saying "you should've calling her a terrorist" which is dumb and completely so stupid🤦‍♂️

You sum up perfectly my issues and likings with the series, without forcing to say the series was “woke” or too much “race debatey” no, that part was truly fine, except for the speech, really found that forced, everything else was so marvelously debated on ep 5 Anyway the points you make are exact, valid and fair and doesnt let go of the fact that the series has issues but it also has good moments, like and subscribed! Keep up the good work
