The show sucks. I watched all episodes bc i wanted it to be good but no: Loki seems dull, naive and kind of ridiculous. Owen Wilson's character is much smarter and calculated than Loki, which is really bad. Tom Hiddleston whips his hair back 500 times, screws up every metaphor and just feels shallow and inconsequent to his former personality. There is nothing interesting about this show.

Bro, exactly. My mom has a huge crush on Tom Hiddleston and we were so stoked to watch it together when it releases. Bruh, she even said it herself that no one in this show is believable. The only likeable character is Mobius. I want you to think about this. If a side character is more likeable and has more sense and character consistency than the MAIN character whose name is LITERALLY what the show is called, then the writing is definitely a huge red flag.

@@skegeetiger03 why? It’s built on absolutely nothing. It barely has actual substance for characters apart from Loki being evil. They also just reset about 7 years of Loki’s character arc. The show is so beloved because it’s Loki,m. We all like the character (which is mainly because of his characters development and how it’s one of the best the MCU pulled off, which this show erases completely). People see the same face, and it makes them happy, despite the character losing 90% of his value. And the Infinity Stones desk joke was so dumb. And I don’t even dislike the message that the stones don’t work in different universes/timelines, but the way they presented it as a joke was complete trash. They made it a joke without actually saying the stones don’t work in different universes (which are actually timelines, not universes. Another thing they managed to mess up).

Spoilers for Infinity War: I think the few villains Marvel kept alive for longer than one film was Thanos, Loki, and Zemo. The Thor films, as much as I like the concept of the main character’s arc up till the end of Infinity War, Loki coming back over and over again was tiresome. When he died in Infinity War, it was gruesome and surprising because they showed it. It also had purpose, to show how merciless Thanos was. Loki, just getting out of his villainous ways and finally supporting Thor, just to die in a snap was emotionally compelling. So, although we didn’t get to see him go through a full arc, it helped display/foreshadow the inevitable demise of the good guys by the end of the film, at the hands of Thanos. Oh yeah also Endgame brought him back anyways..woo.

@@Mr_Blueberry At first, I was little miffed we didn’t get to see Loki be a good guy, but it also made me see Thanos as a bigger threat than expected, and it made me want the good guys to win more. Which, made the ending even more shocking when they lost. Also I’d like to note something, after seeing Endgame, they should have had a Black Widow film before it came out.

If the writers should take more inspection from the comics and Norse mythology, but to adept the stories that it will fit in the MCU. In Thor and the Avengers Loki was a calculating villain with agency. I understand that in Thor the dark world, he loves his mom dearly and wants to breakout of prison, so his only way to escape is to team up with Thor. He should have died there. In the movies his powers are not overwhelming but they are strong and consistent. In the series not. He fights mediocre compare to what the audience saw, but can lift an building with his mind and teleport himself from a short distance. In the movies Loki can dublecate himself. In the movies Loki cares about his family, the first and the second movie and in the beginning of invenity war. In the series he is concerned about random people of a dying planted. His nexus avant with Sylvie doesn't make sense. He fells in love with her very quickly. Mobius is a shitty friend, even if the series tell us otherwise. He doesn't make a plan like in Thor, the Avengers and Thor the dark world. He became a puppy of Mobius and Silvie. I miss Loki who has agency. A prince of Asgard. Not a office worker who follows orders. I know that office work is an ungrateful hard working job, but it doesn't fit Loki. I know that the writers wanted to make a sityre of bureaucracy and totalitarianism. It feels like Tom Hiddleston plays an entire different character with the same name. When Tom Hiddleston first appeared as Loki, he showed his talent to a wider audience. Now it's a routine job to get an extra income. The writers and directors don't make use of his talent. Dispice his talent, Hiddleston can not save the character. This Loki is to emotional, to obedient and in many cases to mediocre compare to what we have seen so far. In rangarok every character was downgraded, in the series, only Loki is down graded. I haven't seen his new movie, but I know him from the night manager. He played Jonathan well. It's a good analysis. Sometimes a character is done and the actors should focus themselves on new projects.

I am one of the few who does not like Loki, I consider that most of his fans are women or men who are attracted to his appearance or straight men who want to look like him. Tom Hiddleton seems like a good actor to me, but not one of the best, in "Kong" I suck. Although they put him as a comic antagonist, Hiddleton does not seem funny to me and does not have the charisma and coldness of the Loki from the comics, I do not want them to believe that I compare the movies with the comics, but i never really iagreed with this adaptation, they always wanted to victimize him and it was stupid the times he was killed and then revived as if nothing had happened, that makes him a worse character than many believe.

I was so excited for the show, like extremely excited. I can’t put into words how I felt as that feeling of disappointment and frustration slowly sunk in as I realized “this show is not good” “Marvel being good is done for a while isn’t it” There are so many ridiculous scenes, my favourite being season 1-E4 at 38:30 Hunter B-15 comes in as if to save the day, and just kind of, falls or something? I DONT HATE this show, i wrote this review to address the people who gave it one star/hate it. Reason why people gave this show 1 star 1. Cause its disney+ (which is nonsense) 2. Cause it will destroy mcu (you idiots atleast let the show finish cause their might be a possibility of timekeepers to be a scam) 3.Woke Garbage,diversity and blackwash (u cant run away from this these days and even a thanos snap cant stop it, so deal with it) 4. Boring(episode 3 may feel like a filler rn which also might be a buildup to something but ep 1 and 2 were engaging and great.Also cinematography and writing is good so far) 5. Haters(they gonna hate no matter what) So far the show is brilliant so give it time, enjoy it and dont overthink it.I do think they did loki dirty in movies but the same was with almost all characters, they were all damaged in some ways. Though one thing is that it was a bit inconsistent in ep 3 that warriors with so much experience get their ass kicked by some normal characters (AGAIN THERES A POSSIBILITY THAT EP 3 MIGHT BE A ILLUSION). Superfans sometimes make it hard by criticizing every single thing with non-confirmed theories and thank god they are in minority as the upcoming episodes will hopefully fix the issues. Every episode gets me hyped for next on so i do recommend the show it will get u entertained and have a great day**
