To be very honest with you, I made this tutorial, but to say I'm not very fond of the maverick either is a big understatement

In training mission Basic Maverick, I am seeing TGP where your MFD is showing WPN...All conditions the same as you AG, Pre, etc. Master Arm is on. Scratching my head, will go back to the manual. Latest ver of BMS.

@@maxbest20s11 that's just the way my MFD is set up compared to yours. Think about what's on the bottom row on the MFD as "shortcuts". If you want to have something else on there, when for example you have the weapon page selected, just press that same OSB and you will see the menu where all the pages are presented. You can then pick whatever page you want. Does that make sense?

If I were in boresight mode and, without locking anything, I just shoot a missile... Will it hit whatever is on the crosshair or go stupid? (Dumbest question ever but it would be so funny to use mavs as a more expensive LAU-3 rocket pod)

@@Gold_Roberto without pressing TMS Forward before shooting? It still go stupid, because the camera isn't really tracking anything, it's just transmitting video feed

What are the advantages of each mode ?? Especially between boresight and pre mode ??

@@DJeb86 personally I use PRE mode when I have a TGP loaded on the aircraft, I then use that for targeting after slaving thr seeker head to it. I would also use it if the target is stationary like a building or skip that's docked for example. BORE mode I'd use if I don't have a TGP loaded and I'm engaging targets of opportunity, by simply pointing the nose of the aircraft to the general area os the target and then fine tune my targeting. But I think it comes down to personal preference and practice with the different modes.

I've personally never really enjoyed using the Mavericks. I guess it's a matter of taste.

i prefer GBU than maverick i think i got more range with GBU and doing more dmg. The tax payer i am :) compare the price ) i can destroy more vehicules with 4 gbu than with 6 maveriks and for the same cost :)
