Sorry to be off topic but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the account password. I would love any help you can offer me.

Hi. At 9:50 you are describing HAS with its center, right & left fields of view. Is there a benefit to using the right or left FOV? Thanks.
@starfury56293 жыл бұрын
Sure. With the default WIDE FOV, you're seeing all the emitters the HARM seeker can see, all compressed into the area of the MFD. By selecting one of the narrower FOVs, you can isolate the FOV you want to look at, spreading the emitters in that narrower FOV across the area of the MFD. This can help declutter a potentially very cluttered display.

@@starfury5629 That clarifies things. Thanks for your help.

If you are a surface to air missile system radar operator, and you happen to see an F-16 point its nose directly at you, it might be a good time to interrupt transmission. This is why an actualy effective integrated air defese system (IADS) has more than one search and track radar strategically scattered, so as that they can employ them semi-actively, and thereby render anti-radiation missiles obsolete. Meaning an integrated system would turn on or off specific radar transmitters randomly, while maintaintaining tracking and search capability system wide, so no individual radar transmitter could ever be targeted for very long.

Thanks for this! Is this still the same for 4.35?
@starfury56293 жыл бұрын
Not exactly, no. Per the description: **Please Note: The HAD functionality has changed significantly for BMS 4.35, rendering the HAD portion of this tutorial obsolete.** The HAS and POS modes are mostly the same, with the addition of some additional targeting modes in 4.35. Best bet is to reference the -34 manual in the BMS docs folder for details.

@@starfury5629 Thank you, I'm having a hard time with this. I'll check the -34 manual!

Change hard point over here? Where is it?

Assuming you're asking how to change stations, MSL STEP allows you to change A-G stations with certain displays as SOI.
