Used it to install one on my 03 ba falcon. About 90% similar. Good old Australians. Change the outside of the car but keep most of everything else the same

Got this exact towbar used for 250 minus a couple of bolts thanks will make install easyer

I got second hand genuine Ford towbar and bolts. from wreckers. when I see where bolts go. I can't see any thread there. are these bolts a self threading ones like they will go in

Hi - there are 4 bolt holes that have threaded nuts already in place - 2 on the right and 2 on the left. The remainder were but and bolt and I had to drill the holes. You can see them in the video at 4:23

@@rogerc808 bolts which came with tow bar, they were self taping ones. but i couldn't see nuts having threads before. so i drove bolts right into those nuts. and they made threads in those nuts. thanks for reply. i found genuine ford falcon tow bar through wreckers , that was easy to fit .

Here is a good DIY for installing a tow bar on a Falcon FG-X XR-8. The XR-6 will be almost identical except you only have the single muffler to lower.

Doing a ba falcon. Muffler is on the right hand side and the long bar is on the left. Doesn't have the 2 bars on the ba version towbar
