You should be fine mate. If the gas tanks are under the vehicle then only the filler neck might be slightly different, that's it.

I couldn't really tell from the video, but was there any rust or water collecting underneath the tub. Just wondering if I need to do any preventative maintenance.

Same process as far as I know, although the tubs are a little different so expect some slight variation on number of bolts and their placement.

Reply might be a bit late but I'd say if it's made to suit a falcon it would use the factory mounting points

@@Bupalooga1 the brackets fit because they were made for a ba but when i removed the tub i had to tap a thread where some of the bolts went in there was blank holes pre mad to tap thread into Thanks anyway

Matthew Millar both the sedan & ute are body on frame I THINK. & very much identical in the front half with all suspension engine etc components interchangeable. But with everything behind the drivers seat completely different.

Sure can mate! FG mk1, mk2 & fgx tubs are all the same. Just unbolt the tray watch the video backwards to put the tub on.

Indeed i did, hoping to take a welding course this year and practice on this making up a frame. If I'm feeling fancy could even find a pump and a few water jets to make it a jakoozie

Removing mine today, to remove the fuel pump, not reading the correct fuel, measure

Probally too late to help you but I believe an easier way out is to remove the plastic liner then cut a hole in the metal sheet that covers the fuel pump area.

Its called a tray not a tub, now it reminded me of a bathtub! just seal the gaps on the tailgate then use as a bathtub!

+Momen Kazi yea naa its definitely called a tub mate. I replaced it with a custom fabricated steel tray. Google images 'Ute tub' & then 'ute tray', similar, but there's a difference. Already put a tarp in it and used it as a pool.
