In Germany it starts in 1983 and i was 12. I am still a huge fan. I love the cast,the theme,and the Mercedes 600. This show catched me from the beginng. And Jane Wyman as Angela was amazing.

Well done. Falcon Crest (to me all the way up until it's final season) had one of the best TV themes these ears have ever heard. Now that I've heard this, I'm going to find ANOTHER favorite of mine from the 80's: HILL STREET BLUES!

What I loved about Falcon Crest was that it employed alot of Latin Actors who weren't in subservient roles, and it was next to Dynasty a Show that had alot of UK Actors. Susan Sullivan's Turn as Maggie was so cool she could have been on The Young & The Restless when they had their White Background in it's opening Sequence.

@@UltimateTVShows-channel But would you count Cliff Robertson as a cast member regular? His pic wasn't in the opening for his one season, but he was the only (diva?) to get a special credit over the 9 seasons. Instead of "executive prouducers etc" at the dramatic climax of each episode, he got "Cliff Robertson as Michael Ranson". That is pretty much a contract cast member's special credit sequence so it'd be cool to see him in one of your great fan-made openings. Maybe next time someone does it! Oh... Morgan Fairchild.. where was she in the credits, I never remember!

Even though she joined Falcon Crest when it was in decline Kristian Alfonso was dam hot on this show. She had some very steamy scenes. Such a shame Cole never met Pilar. They would have been a good couple.

Killing her off was just as fatal a blow to the show as when they killed off Ana-Alicia's Melissa Agretti. The show wasn't Falcon Crest for the last season. Except for the excellent final scene with Jane Wyman raising a glass of wine as a toast. Great send-off at least! Better send-off than the cliffhanger last episodes of Dallas, Dynasty, and The Colbys. Knots Landing also got a proper goodbye.

Wasn't the very young Mariska Hargitay on this show as a regular? This show survived mainly because of its "Dallas" lead-in and had one of the most protracted and ugly deaths (five years) because cast feuding led to numerous departures (even Jane Wyman was "in a coma" for most of the final season)

Awesome job! Hey technically you should have included Cliff Robertson. He was a regular in season 3, but he must have been a diva (well he was an Oscar winner) because he got a special "vanity" billing. That season at the end, instead of "Executive Producers ___" they had "Cliff Robertson as Michael Ranson". There was no picture, just his name over a gorgeous view of the valley. So he was a regular, just not in the opening. But that's a technicality I guess. Hey great job, this was awesome!! Oh, if I remember correctly (I don't remember ha) I think Morgan Fairchild had a similar vanity credit at the end of the episodes on her season(s?) but I'm not sure. Hey can you do this for more shows? :)

Technically he wasn’t. But he was the only person to ever get the special placement of “Cliff Robertson as Michael Ranson” at the end of each episode instead of “executive producers --“ for season three only. So his special credit placement to me earns him an honorary spot in the opening credits as if he was Heather Locklear on Melrose Place (“special guest star” for all of her seasons) or Rock Hudson, Ali MacGraw, George Hamilton, or Bo Hopkins (in his special season 8 reappearance) on Dynasty.

There was something to be said about star power. Look at Angela's husband's .... Mel Ferrer, Cesar Romero, and Rod Taylor. Honestly, because of all the star power.....I felt that ....even though they were only on briefly, bigger name actors should have played Jason Gioberti and Douglas Channing. Men whom Lana Turner's Jacqueline would've been attracted to.
