For several years Falcon Crest was excellent. Had great cast and various big stars come and go. It's a tough choice, but may have switched 2 and 3 from your list. No 1 concluded what probably was FC's finest season

I like the series finale best because it neatly wrapped up all the plotlines into that which sort of resembled a happy ending. Sort of Norman Rockwell meets the Don Corleone family 😅

I definitely agree season 6 was the best, I would have ranked season 2 at number 2. But all of them were good except season 8! I hated season 9 overall but that last scene was perfect and such a great final moment for my all time favorite series.

I personally liked seasons 2,3 and 6 season finales because we didn't know who was in the casket(2)and we didn't know who would survive the plane crash(3) and we didn't know the fates of so many characters after Melissa drove the car into the water(6)

I understand, Toni. I know several versions of the cliffhanger were filmed, so I assume they used these shots in the preview so as not to give away the murderer!

Can anyone tell me this?. It's strange that Falcon crest didn't make a T.V-movie reunion in the 90's just like Dallas, Dynasty and knots landing.

Basically, the reason was Jane Wyman´s retirement. Who can imagine FC without her? Also, the fact they killed almost every original character, from Chase & Maggie to Melissa, and that the new ones from the last season were plain awful. Long live FC! Happy New Year John! Toni from supersoaps.org.

Love the list… but slightly disagree on the order…. Season 6 the car was excellent… season with the plane crash deserves a second since the entire season was on fire. The wedding in season 2 was amazing since the killer reveal was a shock. Then for me it would be the earthquake in season 5 and then Melissa takedown of Angela in season 7. This would be higher but new writers ruined this story next season. Then season 4 for me. That finale had none of the deaths we had gotten used to from 2 and 3.

The cast sure loved saying falcon crest. Like all four super soaps FC was great for about the first five or six seasons.

@@bonghunezhou5051 As you must know Warner renumbered Dallas for dvd release. Prior to that, all people involved considered miniseries and 1 as season 1.

@@bonghunezhou5051 thinking about no. KL had a terrible first run. Dallas was 2star until S2 dynasty S1 wasn’t as bad as you remember but FC was was pretty intriguing from the get go. The last three FC were bad as was Dallas after pams crash. Dynasty picked up with sable at the end KL was ok but not great after Abby went.
