Join us for the day seeing the birds trying to take the most amazing quarry in howling winds; lots of hares but the birds had it tough. Hard work but fantastic sport too.

Brilliant, I was on the edge of my seat , I don’t like football, I guess that’s what it feels like watching a game. The Harris for me was on its game, bang on determined to have it, what a flight with that lovely action right to the end. All of it was jus great , nice footage. So many hares. Speaking of windy weather, iv been out when my hawk has been blown away out of sight when up on a soar in windy weather , but still works out how to come back. Good luck.👍

What makes the brown hare magical and mystical Dave? All my life I've always regarded the United Kingdom as a magical place. From nursery rhymes, children's books and Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings films. Heck, even in rock songs: 🎶 how years ago in days of old when magic filled the air🎶 -Zep

They’ve been part of our folk lore for a very long time as magical beasts . Fir falconry with eagles , their natural prey , they have so many moves to avoid capture they seem to be magic , it’s only slow mo or still camera shots that show it’s simply their ability ! As it happens so fast . On a lamp they aren’t but in daylight their timing is phenomenal

Obviously people who have very sad lives. To think that in this day and age you have such primitive people seems unbelievable.

Imagine watching a video you have no interest in and then leaving a comment calling people sad. The irony 😂

Golden eagles are true predator and prey ; Golden eagles live all around the northern hemisphere and hunt from almost flatlands to mountains hunting hares . The main reasons they don’t live much in flatlands is very long term Persecution . Out eagles ha e to start off the glove tho which is a huge drawback and needs super fitness as in the wild they’d rather take them using height to gain speed
