Before I say anything else, this video was uploaded in 720p even though it is only slightly more than 10 minutes long! The motion blurs are more noticeable when you transition the clips with fade ins. That's not a bad thing at all, and it didn't affect your views at all! I do remember you saying that you were still learning how to render videos at the time. At 6:41 Woody seemed to turn his neck sideways and was curious about his new weathering! He will get plenty of sunlight with that. It is better than using his outside perch, since you would have to monitor him while he's there. Feeding a hawk at fat weight can be quite a challenge. When you set food for him at the doorway to his new weathering, you had to whistle from about 50 feet away before he would fly to the food. Are you sure he's not "frightened of you"? It does seem that he wants to be alone in his mews because he's usually alone anyways! That's always a problem, but more manning time could have helped with that!

I think about this time was when my iPad was starting to play up, also I wasn’t fully a wear about quality of resolution. woody did start to get a little independent, I’m sure you with your manning hours would have made a difference. Thank you for watching our journey.

Very well designed. Can I ask how old was woody when you collected him? There seems to be a mix of opinions as to the best age to take them for manning

Thanks, he was 17 weeks old , although at the time I wanted him ASAP , the breeder would not let him go until at least 17 weeks , I’m thankful it was out of my control I may of got it to early from someone else . From what i know from others but not actually had experience of is , if you take early and they imprint on you they will or can scream and be aggressive. I’m sure a good breeder won’t let their hawks go early. Hope this helps. Good luck ,

What did you use for the weathering roof. What mesh and where did u get it from

It was ex cricket practice net from a mate, cover the whole area, not sure if you can buy it, flexible bit like commercial fishing net, and one sheet of clear corrugated plastic nearest mews .B&Q
