@@tiagoflorensia349 The tidbits of lore they write somewhere on their website? No, not really. Stopped bothering after the constant rewrites. We're mainly talking about the Ruination event, which did really not that great of a job to establish the lore of Viego and the ruination.

@@olafgurke4699 i felt that they didn t have a unified vision of what Veigo should be. some tried to make him an asshole turned into evil. others a tragic villain. i honestly think the best way to go with him is a young man consumed by grief and love that turned into a monster in the end (the moment isolde died). the story on his bio literally does a lot of disservice to him by just making him an asshole and even feels a bit contradictory (he seems both wise enough to know he doesn t have what it takes to rule or care but full of himself at the same time).

@@scarletnoct5807 Viegos design, event and personality is just bad. He is a pretty boy with tamper tantrums with nonsensical Ruination event. "The Ruined King" was always imagined as a badass old-man-turned-into-monster character and we got a whiny member of a K-Pop band instead. The writers generally do amazing work, but Viego is just straight up a failure. Thats bc they wanted to "subvert expectation", which most of the time is just straight up bad by poor implementation.

I mean… no. I agree it’s way better than the Sentinels event but “more work”? No. The Sentinels event had to take AT LEAST a year’s worth of work from a dozens of writers, artists and the like working during COVID times. We got like, 6 hours worth of content in the visual novel, a full skin line, 4 new champions, and more. The event wasn’t good, but to say that work wasn’t put into it is a bold faced lie. A ton of very hard, probably underpaid work went into just creating the bare bones of this event.

The usage of alternating softer and heavier musical phrases, along with the vocals switching between lower and higher keys to complement those musical phrases, do a good job of emphasizing Viego's tragic and villainous facets; further drawn out by the vocals acknowledging his largely absent sanity. Additionally, having the instrumental interlude between the second and third chorus not be a heavy shredding session on the guitar but what one would expect from a romantic ballad, helps to sell the fact that Viego is a character primarily motivated by, and ultimately lost to, grief. In summation, absolutely fantastic, great job again!
