Unless you engage the center locking diff, the rear is putting down more power even though it's "all wheel drive."

Rotating your tires properly is key. I've been on several trips west to Moab, Black Hills SD, ect. From Minnesota. Mine have been absolutely amazing! Works great in snow, gravel, sand ,etc just like yours. And yeah, really quiet too. Mine are the same size in a 1997 Land Cruiser.

@kriscsr39583 жыл бұрын
@@catlinbeasley2041 So far, so good. I don't do any major off roading (my truck's only a rwd), but these tires, and my locking rear diff, have gotten me out of some soft stuff where my OEM's would have just spun. The main reason I bought these is for puncture protection, because I often drive down some pretty rocky roads with sharp, fist-sized rocks. Before, I was stressed, waiting for the low tire light to turn on. Now, that's not a concern. Regarding on-road driving, like all of the reviews state, they're very quiet and didn't seem to affect my gas mileage too much. The grip is fine, considering I don't take corners too fast and the braking seems fine too.

I have this tire in 33 12.50 15 on a Samurai. I also have a set of old style geolander Mt Plus that I switch back and forth between. The samurai does way better in gravel and loose Rock with the AT3Ws. The ride is better with Falkens at street pressure. The ride is way better at lower pressures with the Falkens. The only thing the old M/T Yokahamas are better at is thick mud and deep snow. There is one really steep gravel road that I go on that I need four wheel drive with the M/Ts, but can do it in two wheel drive with the Falkens.

I bought Falken Wildpeaks about 2 months ago for my '18 Toyota 4Runner. They are the best A/T tires that I have ever used. I just got back from a 1,400 mile trip into northern New Mexico. Very little road noise, mileage drop only .2 of a mile from highway tires, and they have great traction in all conditions (especially snow). I also get a lot of compliments on them!

@@matthewking4470 I previously had 10ply BFG AT KO1 tires on my Frontier which were horrible on ice. These Falkens seem to grip better for me on slick stuff. I think they would be perfect for your Nissan. I have the P-rated Falken AT3W on both my Frontier and 4Runner. They are a lighter tire compared to the LT Falkens and closer to stock weight. I find keeping the tire weight close to stock weight = better fuel economy.
