Just a suggestion, build/put shelves on either side of the cooler and have a food and beverage area, if you make it look deliberate it won't look so out of place. Love your videos!!!

Watch your expiration dates on your drinks, especially sodas. Drinks, especially diet sodas, expire surprisingly quick. Even water has an expiration date. It’s better to run out of a drink than not sell them all and they are expired before the next sale. Yes they expire that quick. Also I wouldn’t stock up for the next sale until a couple days before.

Shoe suggestion: What about placing them in ziploc-type bags and hanging them on small hangers that have clips on the end. At least then the shoes stay together. Bags are cheap and you can recycle the hangers for each sale.

36:45 Rabbit! I feel better choices 4 sad table would be charity or sell 'as is' for glass alone!!! Avoid feeding that dumpster man if you can help it! Catching up on your vids and love watching product movement from intake to out the door! ❤️❤️❤️ So satisfying. Ps: My OCD senses are tingling... Chips around cashier desk, tables needing good cleaning (citric acid works wonders for stains) etc, etc. Too bad I'm so far away I'd have you sorted in no time. Electric shocks for those who 'frenzy trash' the nicely organized displays would also be provided. K, back to bingeing... 😳 Pss: 2023 = year of the 🐰!!!

It would be very easy to make a jig to bend hangers for the shoes out of heavy gauge wire in a open style "W" shape. The main expense would be the wire, and the jig made out of a 1/2" thick steel plate & bolts for the bending pegs. I made a similar jig when I was doing blacksmithing. With a cut off saw or small shear & bench grinder, it would take under a minute to make each hanger. You can often find soft drinks cheaper by actually going to the local distributer for them since you have a business.

I think the drinks will sell well but for $2k you could have bought a vending machine and put it outside so you could sell drinks as people wait, as they leave, and year round to people using the warehouses near you who would stop and buy drinks.

For the shoes, why not cut all the elastic strings and run a medium zip tie through either the top lace hole or the pull on on the back.
@myfamilyismyworld2 жыл бұрын
Question: I’ve wondered this for a while. I am big on organization also. You have a very good handle on what you have in the warehouse all the time but to make sale prep easier and faster would it be beneficial to have designated areas of the warehouse for each sale. So that when your pallets come in, you sort them and move them to the sale you want to sell them in. Then each area could be further organized on the day you’re putting it out. So the sidewalk chalk could be put in the spring and summer sale etc. Tim could use the area behind the desk as his death pile area of course.
@angiriberdy50942 жыл бұрын
There are eyelet reinforcement stickers for peg displays. You can put them on bags that have a torn eyelet or ones that never got the eyelet to begin with. They come in sheets of 15 or 20 if I remember right. Used to use them all the time when I worked retail.

There are people who would watch you mow your lawn. There's a bunch of guys who post videos of mowing and cleaning up overgrown yards. Al Bladez, Mow it wells, SB Mowing, Lawn Care Juggernaut, Fill's Lawn Care and more. Al Bladez has over 760,000 subscribers. Others have high six figure subscriber numbers. Post a mowing video and watch the views. ;)

The warehouse is in meltdown mode. I would be so mad, too. You need a manager to help keep things in order. I wished I lived near this warehouse sale. You have great prices and the way the economy is many of these products will be sold.

Hate to tell you but Aquafina and possibly Davina, pump for me toxic waste site in California... a couple of them actually buy from the West basin plant for recycling water, they add their special flavoring, so might be recycled water before it goes to a sewer, and or from a clean up toxic waste, area... most of West Basin which is located on the edge of El Segundo, they do do tours, if you're interested let me know if you're in the SoCal area near the airport... I've been on there tours. But this is California we're big on sewer to tap.... Love to see the videos good luck to you & the girlfriend, nice to have a nice one available, supportive... You're a generally good guy, you deserve the best... Christiana, is definitely a benefit to your life... .. Definitely need to figure out a way to monetize some of your KZbin offerings, you might want to look at the auction professor.. Of course most of the stuff he has the explains is not really viable or visible in my area, the chances of my finding some of that stuff is Slim to freaking none... But it's entertainment... .

If you come up with a way to keep glass products that are displayed on tables (especially the smooth plastic tables) from falling off and breaking, please let me know. I volunteer for a food pantry and we take in clothing and home goods donations and have them out on tables for our clients to go through while they're here. It NEVER fails, every time there are glass items at least one will fall off a table and break. I've tried everything I can think of to keep it from happening. I've even put them in boxes, on the floor, but people will always put them up on the table to look at them, and then leave them there. We don't have enough volunteers to keep going over the tables to tidy up the tables and I don't have enough room to spread things out, or isolate the breakable things. I'm ready to just say that we can't accept donations of glass/ceramic items.

Unfortunately I'm now old, it doesn't take much to create some large bruising blemishes, and or cut yourself with it just about anything... Probably better off putting those on eBay or somebody else someplace else, having some good pictures and having a warning about cutting yourself... I love sharp knives, however unless you're used to working with sharp knives, it's just a disaster.. With the usual unusual bipolar strange customers, probably better to sell them somewhere else, lots of pictures, maybe a few disclaimers... I love knives I own a tremendous amount of them, they take up very little space... I'm currently trying to put a roof on my house in Los Angeles, made the mistake of hiring a possibly bipolar crazy effer.. So if you're in the Los Angeles area Hector has some potential issues, not sure if he's bipolar, doesn't read English, not something you want to deal with... does have a partner who probably is Asian, not sure what his role is, bad mojo.... fully licensed does have workers comp, who knows how many illegals he's actually hiring??? you get to a certain point in your life, you just don't need it another amount of crazy liability
