I don’t care for any of the new runway looks, except collarless jackets are cute, the lady jacket

I love collarless jackets. They are less masculine and it expands your options for styling.

Hi Mariana! I love the collarless jacket trend. A collarless jacket or coat creates a longer, leaner silhouette, perfect for petites. Because there is no volume of fabric from the neck through the mid-chest where lapels would be, the eye travels in a clean sweep up and down, thus creating a long, lean look. ❤

Oh Mariana, Mariana! You and I are sartorial twins. 40s and 50s ladylike elegance and femininity is my favourite "look" too, it's sometimes hard to find the right pieces, I've been learning to sew, so that I'm able to make the clothes I want to wear. I love your style and you do have absolutely impeccable taste my dear, you really do ❤❤❤ I wish we could go for a little shopping day with coffee and cake to start, a late lunch and then an evening of playing dress up! In my mind, we'd be such great friends 😂 if you ever come to England, there is a place in my Surrey home for you. Well done on another fantastic selection of clothing choices and a great video, thank you, I appreciate all your efforts that go into your work ❤❤❤

I had always loved a collarless jacket which is why I love beautiful cardigans for my casual lifestyle 💚

I would so love to find a light-colored neutral, like ivory or taupe, in 100% wool or cashmere. I have the one in polyester or acrylic from H&M that you linked a year or two ago, but it gives no warmth at all. I bought the longer, cashmere-lined brown leather gloves also to copy your look, but the cape looks really cheap and I freeze in it. I’m looking for a better, high-quality, one now that they’re “back in”.

Yay. Form in fashion, long dresses and collarless jackets. Now I can stop cutting the collars off that make a small-shouldered girl like me look like s bat.

Hello Mariana ! I need help with clip on earing. I have classic earlobe hole for earing. Each Time i try to put on clip on earing it Hurt After a voir wearing it. Have you tricks to put them on so that it dont Hurt?
@umyumlum477 ай бұрын
They hurt me too. I think some people aren't bothered by the pressure and some people are. Or are willing to put up with some discomfort. Just like with heels. Though it might be possible to have the pressure adjusted, depending on the earring.

I’m wearing the beautiful vintage “button” earrings you inspired me to look for. They’re oval, fake pearl with “gold” rims. I do have a pair of real MOP, 14K ones, but I hate their thick, weird ear loops, they hurt to put in. I’m with you on 40s and 50s styles, they highlighted a woman’s shape and showed waists. The boxy, oversized trend looks horrible on little me, it’s so shapeless! I’m seeing a few cinched-waists blazers, but the shoulders are too extreme. I don’t understand why designers never feature the classic fit, it’s classic because it looks great.🙂

Designers are still offering skimpy and sheer clothes. For autumn? I don’t think so. I also hate all the feathers, fringe and other embellishments. If only they would concentrate on flattering women’s beautiful shapes, instead, with the best fabrics and cuts.
