I use a steamer and microfiber cloth to clean all my stainless appliances. It works better than any spray.

I totally use the refrigerator door to hang up a third calendar of reminders in our house. It's a great spot for our notepad in order to quick-jot our list of groceries/supplies needed. It's our spot for weekly lunch menus, and great place to attach special magnets. Love that my refrigerator does double duty so that my family can stay on track.

Hi, Allie! For non-toxic cleaning for stainless steel appliances I use an E-cloth general purpose cloth to wet and clean the surface then the e-cloth glass and polishing cloth to shine it up. Looks brand new and picks any oils or debris.

I love how you decorate and work with what is there. Like sometimes there’s things I don’t like in our house but if you change up the colors a bit you can make it look like it belongs. Kind of like your bathroom countertops and changing the colors to white.

I have that mop and I love it. No buckets of water to haul, no mop head to wring out or wash, and like you said, you can use the cleaners you prefer. I love the washable pads. So much more convenient than a mop head.

I know this is from last year, but I'm just now watching and SAME! We've lived in our very first house for over 2 years now and I'm just now motivated to finally decorate! I barely have any decor and what I do have is in a spare closet. Finally getting more prices and excited to decorate! Especially for fall and Christmas!

Loved your fall decor. As for the fridge pics, I have a command station that I use instead in the kitchen. It’s a letter board that I added an addition to the bottom for the pictures. It keeps the pictures and reminders a lot more organized and my kitchen appliances free of clutter.

Great idea about the baking soda WITH the thieves cleaner for the stovetop! I hadn’t thought of that - trying it now! I keep the front of my fridge clear of stuff. I have a cork board with a pretty frame mounted on one of my kitchen walls where the kids are allowed to pin up their favorite drawings. 😊

So thank you for everything and sharing your story, your home, and how you clean. A tip on the stainless steel cleaning that I’ve done is just warm water and dawn dish soap with a microfiber cloth. It really gets the job done!

Love your home! It’s so cute 😍 for stainless steel, I use Norwex (I’ve heard the e-cloths in grove are the same but haven’t tried them) I just get the enviro cloth wet, wring it out, wipe down the stainless, then use the polishing cloth to make it shine! No chemicals used, and it makes it shine sooo well! I’m a professional house cleaner and all of my clients LOVE when I use this method.

I don’t like hanging things on my fridge... but I do. We have some of my daughters drawings hung on our fridge and little love notes that my husband has left for us when he’s had to go interstate for work. I don’t like how cluttered it looks, but I love the smile on my daughters face when she looks up and sees her pictures displayed for everyone to see 😊

Great video! Love it!! To answer your pictures on the fridge question... I am really lucky and have part of the side of my fridge exposed next to my counter. I only put pictures up on the side, but keep the front stainless steel part free from clutter! It’s a smaller spot so I can only put my favorite things and i also sometimes cut out little craft paper frames for my pictures just to make it look a little more put together and to match my kitchen!

I would suggest using a Norwex cloth on your stainless steel! The window/glass cloth is AMAZING! No cleaner needed!

Everything is on our fridge! 🙈 My whole family literally does this too!! Reminders, magnets, artwork, calendar, and some will put cereal boxes and meds on top! This is a great video! Very relaxing to watch as well. 💕 ETA: i just got that same mop the other day! Works much better than my previous one. I have one that is similar that you can fill with your own solution but i hated the pad, and its just one sided. The O Cedar mop you can use both sides!

Allie, I found your channel back in July and since then I’ve watched all your videos including most of your old ones!! I love watching your videos to the point I get so bored and frustrated when you don’t upload for a few days. I love applying your tips to my own life. I suggest using a mixtures of hit water, vinegar and dish soap for stainless steal. It also works great on Windows!

Great video!! Norwex has saved my life when cleaning stainless steel. Wet Envirocloth cleans followed by dry window cloth to polish. You only need water to clean, and it is a streak free shine:)
