Yeah, in NJ, we have great fall color until a cold, windy rain storm (usually in November) blows 'em all off. We've had wet and windy but not cold, wet and windy, yet. It'll happen sometime this month though, for sure. For now though, it still looks great here. 🍁🍂🍃

@@greatgardensforall hahaha! That's pretty GREAT!!! I JUST LOVE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that tree. I looooove that tree. Gushing over trees! Nice to know I'm not the only one! There's a tree similar to this - altho shorter in height, at the Austin Botanical Gardens. Just think of your tree in miniture - about 4-5 feet tall, and it's quite wide. The branches are similar to yours tho. It's planted up on tiny a rocky hill, so it looks bigger. When I lived closer, and had a couple hours break from raising my kids, I would go there, climb into the heart of that canapy, and just sit for as long as possible! People walking by couldn't see me! It was awesome. So rejuvenating. 💚

Really enjoyed this one, I'm hoping to buy some land, my plan is to plant it like an arboretum, this was a great look into what to plant for fall color. I heard yrs ago that a rainy early fall means good color for trees, here on Maryland's eastern shore ours are the prettiest I've seen in a long time. There use to be a really nice show on HGTV yrs ago, when they had garden shows. Gardeners Journal, she would visit home gardeners, one had her husband build a faux chimney and she had a beautiful climbing Hydrangea covering the entire "chimney". Some are on KZbin.
