Thank you Wandering Woodsman for your kind words and your shout out. That really floored me, you have no idea how much that means to me. You have been an inspiration to myself and countless others and are leaving a lasting legacy that you should be tremendously proud of.

Centre County resident here. Grew up going to this park and running around Clearfield and Elk County. You definitely picked the right time to go, its beautiful in the fall. Great video! The park itself is pronounced Mo-Shannon btw (at least by locals). Elk County is also beautiful this time of year. A personal favorite there is Fred Woods Trail, with some great views and rock formations.

It was so kind of you to mention Walter. I'm as surprised as you are that he doesn't have more people watching. Of course, you are the original as far as my husband and I are concerned and we went back to the beginning to watch them all in order. Thank you as well for giving us John!

Great job showing Black MO Shannon! Along the bog boardwalk are several types of carnivorous plants; sundew, pitcher plants, and bladderwort. Also a few somewhat unusual grasses that usually are found much farther north, like cotton grass due the altitude and much cooler temps. There is a lot more to see.

Beautiful video and great peaceful vibe of your narration- thank you. I came from the West Coast and visited a friend in the area, who took me here a month before this video was shot. Such a serene and pristine place. We kayaked much of the length of the lake. Pennsylvania is gorgeous.

Fall colors are coming out in NW NM, mainly yellows out this way. Great footage of the woodpecker, blurry or not. I know you're already back for this trip, but you were in prime cave country.

love the colors! yes marked paths are very important. There's a state park near me, nothing's marked, paths in horrible shape. I tried it once, got lost, it was scary. To see the ones there in Pa. makes me want to live there.

Nice fall colors. I include the blue sky along with the colors you named. Glad a hand didn't appear from under the boardwalk to snatch that sticker. The "Mid State Regional Airport" is 2.5 miles away.

I finally tossed a pair of my old hiking shoes yesterday too. It's hard to part with shoes that feel good when you walk in them but when you start tripping over de-laminating soles you gotta man up. I did glue a de-laminating sole on another shoe to make it last a bit longer though...LoL. (An Irish Blessing) May your new hikers last forever and take you to many amazing places!
